First thing’s first. A&E let us know that there is an official title for tonight’s new June 8, 2023 installment. It’s called, “Back Street.”

In tonight’s new episode, lead Detective Jason White is going to take a deeper look into an ongoing crime spree after some poor man turns up shot to death on the side of a road. A&E’s press release points out that this will be Jason White’s 100th case for the Tulsa Homicide team.

A&E’s official description for tonight’s new, June 8, 2023 episode of The First 48 reads like this, “When a man is shot on the side of the road, clues lead Detective Jason White to an ongoing crime spree in his 100th case for Tulsa Homicide.”

An alternate description tells us, “While working his 100th case for Tulsa Homicide, Detective Jason White investigates a shooting death that occurred on the side of the road and uncovers an ongoing crime spree as he searches for answers in his pursuit of justice.”

A&E’s press release confirmed that The First 48 will be brand new again tonight, June 8, 2023, and it’s scheduled to show up on your TV sets, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
