Unfortunately, we’ve got some not-so-great news for you 60 Minutes fans in this article. It turns out that the 60 Minutes episode that CBS is airing tonight will not be a new one. According to CBS’ press release, tonight’s, February 9, 2025 episode is going to feature segments that were previously aired in different episodes aka repeats.

Some of you guys may not have seen these particular repeat segments when they originally aired. So, we do have some preview information for tonight’s episode via CBS’ official press release.

Tonight’s episode will feature a total of three repeat segments that have previously aired in the past. The first repeat segment is titled, “KEVIN HART.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Correspondent Anderson Cooper profiles Kevin Hart, one of the highest grossing comedians today and a bankable movie star, who is now adding a new title to his resume – entertainment and business mogul.

The second repeat segment is titled, “JEFF KOONS.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “Anderson Cooper profiles Jeff Koons, one of the most prominent and polarizing artists in the world. Known for making sculptures and paintings inspired by everyday objects or famous characters, his works can take decades to make and push the boundaries of technology and sometimes taste.

Koons shows Cooper some of his latest work at both a stone workshop in Pennsylvania and his studio in New York, where he gives 60 MINUTES a look at one of his latest projects, Moon Phases, which has now become a permanent art exhibit on the moon.”

The 3rd and last repeat segment for tonight’s episode is titled, “DUA LIPA.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “Many teenagers want to become pop stars, but few convince their parents to let them pack their bags and move to another country to make it big.

That’s precisely what Dua Lipa did when she was 15 years old, trading Pristina, Kosovo, for London. Anderson Cooper talks with her about her journey from unknown songwriter to international sensation, with her songs streaming more than 45 billion times.”

Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that 60 Minutes will be a repeat episode tonight, February 9, 2025, and it’s scheduled to air in the 6 pm central standard time slot.

    Much of my life has lived where I could watch 60 Minutes every Sunday evening. It was a fixture of my younger days and a trusted source of information on many topics as I aged. I hope this cancellation is a one-off. I’ll miss being able to relax and trust for the hour this evening.
