Top critics gave Ashton Kutcher’s new ‘Killers’ movie pretty bad reviews. Lionsgate released their new action/comedy, Ashton Kutcher branded flick “Killers” into theaters today,and hardly any of the top movie critics seemed pleased with it. Some of them called it stupid and disappointing. It stars: Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl, Tom Selleck, Catherine O’Hara, Katheryn Winnick, Kevin Sussman, Lisa Ann Walter, Casey Wilson, Rob Riggle, Martin Mull, and Alex Borstein.

Jason McKiernan at Filmcritic.com said, “It’s not a perfect film and it’s not a piece of cinematic refuse, but Killers is able to find happiness in the middle.” Peter Sobczynski at efilmcritic.com said, “Even if Lady Gaga herself were to turn up to meet you in the bleachers during the screening, there is no earthly reason for anyone to spend their time or money on “Killers.” Read more »

ABC decided not to buy ‘Ghost Whisperer’ show after CBS cancellation. According to “Entertainment Weekly,” the “Ghost Whisperer” TV show is officially a ghost. There was some hope that ABC might pick up the show when CBS canceled it,but they decided to pass on it,so it’s officially canceled now.

CBS canceled ‘Ghost Whisperer’ & Old Christine TV shows. According to “Entertainment Weekly,” CBS has decided to cancel long-time running show “Ghost Whisperer,” and “The New Adventures of Old Christine” TV shows. However, it’s reported that fans shouldn’t loose hope on the two shows just yet because there’s a possible chance that ABC might want to pickup one or both of the shows.

They say ABC owns GW and has coveted the “Old Christine” TV show. One of their sources said there’s an 50% chance that Old Christine could move to ABC,stating, “There’s a 50/50 shot that Christine will move to ABC.” The possible “Ghost Whisperer” move to ABC, seems less likely to happen. Black Sabbath’s Ronnie James Dio died today due to stomach cancer. According to TMZ and other news sources, Ronnie James Dio died earlier today after losing his battle with stomach cancer. Ronnie James Dio took over as lead singer of Black Sabbath after Ozzy Osbourne left the band. He was 67 years old.

Ronnie announced last summer that he was battling stomach cancer,and was undergoing treatment at a Houston hospital. Ronnie was often credited for popularizing the “Devil’s horn” hand gesture in heavy metal culture. His wife Wendy made a statement on his website today,expressing her heart-broken feelings.

Top Critics gave Latifa’s ‘Just Wright’ movie below average reviews. Fox Searchlight Pictures released their new Queen Latifah romantic/comedy flick “Just Wright” into theaters this weekend,and the top movie critics didn’t find it to be too great,giving it below average ratings overall with Cs and Ds. However, one critic thought it was ok with a B- rating. Singer, Lena Horne died in the hospital yesterday at age 92. According to Access Hollywood , Singer Lena Horne died yesterday at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Lena’s spokeswoman Gloria Chin would not release anymore details about the situation. In the past, Lena Horne was very honest about the underlying reason for her success.

Networks cancel ‘Legend Of The Seeker’ TV show. According to “Entertainment Weekly,” The cult fantasy show “Legend Of The Seeker,” which I personally liked, has been officially canceled by the networks. They say multiple sources of theirs have confirmed that the show has been axed. The future of the show had been very bleak since last March because many of Tribune Station Group’s markets decided to drop the show from their lineup.

The series was developed by Terry Goodkind’s fantasy novels by Hercules/Xena producers,which are Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert. New Line Cinema released their new remake of “A Nightmare On Elmstreet” flick into theaters today, and most of the top movie critics thought that it was just mediocre,giving it mostly Cs and Ds. Big Brother 9 Matt McDonald got arrested again for scaring a witness. According to TMZ , Matt McDonald who was a contestant on CBS’s hit reality show “Big Brother” in its 9th season two years ago, got arrested again for trying to scare his girlfriend into dropping the alleged beating charges that she previously brought on him.

The Winthrop Police Department said that Matt McDonald and his family members allegedly waged a relentless 2-day campaign of intimidation against his girlfriend, and her family after Matt was originally arrested on April 18. Matt’s girlfriend claims that she began to feel frightened when Matt began calling her from jail 4 times within 48 hours. Universal Pictures released its new action/thriller movie, “Repo Men” in theaters today,and the top movie critics in the business, pretty much thought it was just mediocre,stating it had a moment or two. Wesley Morris at the Boston Globe gave it a C. He said, “it has a moment or two.” Roger Ebert over at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a C. He stated, “What are people supposed to think? Is this an action scene, or satire? Does it make any difference? I dunno.”
