New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Received Mostly Negative Reviews From Major Critics

Paramount Pictures released their new action/remake film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” into theaters today, August 8th, and all the reviews are in from the top critics. It turns out that most of them definitely were not even close to being impressed with this flick, only getting an overall 34 score out of a possible 100 across 23 reviews at the metacritic.com site.

The film stars: Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Will Arnett and Danny Woodburn. We’ve posted blurbs from a couple of the critics,below.

Bruce Ingram from the Chicago Sun-Times, gave it a 63 grade, saying: “[A] basically brainless but intermittently adrenalizing, mostly-just-for-kids reboot.” Kyle Anderson from Entertainment Weekly, gave it a 58 grade. New Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes Received Mostly Positive Reviews From Major Critics

20th Century FOX released their new Sci-Fi/thriller flick, “Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes” into theaters today, July 11th, and the top,major critics have turned in their reviews. It turns out that the movie found a lot of favor with most of them as it scored and overall 79 score out of a possible 100 across 41 reviews over at metacritic.com.

The movie stars: Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo, and Judy Greer. We’ve posted blurbs from a couple of the critics,below.

Joe Neumaier from the New York Daily News, gave it a perfect 100 score, saying: “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is awe-inspiring.” Todd McCarthy over at The Hollywood Reporter also gave it a perfect 100 grade! New Revolution Season 3 Is Never Happening,NBC Canceled It Forever

Hey, “Revolution” peeps. Unfortunately, we have to break the bad news to you guys as NBC opted not to renew your favorite show for a new season 3, so therefore, tonight’s season 2 finale episode will be its absolute final show for the rest of eternity! We’ll have to bid you ado in regards to this show as coverage for it, ends now. The official cancellation announcement took place in early May 2014 according to TV Line.

New Godzilla 2014 Remake Movie Received Mostly Positive Reviews From Major Critics

Warner Bros. Pictures released their new action/sci-fi flick, “Godzilla” into theaters this weekend, and the top critics have submitted their reviews. It got mostly positives with an overall 62 score out of a possible 100 across 46 reviews at the Metacritic.com. site.

The movie stars: Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn, and Bryan Cranston. We’ve posted blurbs from a few of the critics,below.

Matt Zoller Seitz from RogerEbert.com, gave it a great 88 score, saying, “The sheer filmmaking craft on display here shames almost any comparably budgeted superhero picture you can name.” Michael Phillips at the Chicago Tribune, gave it an 88 as well. He stated: ” The director thinks visually, which sounds redundant until you realize how many monster movies are flat, effects-dependent factory jobs. Universal Pictures released their new comedy flick, “Neighbors’ into theaters today,and the reviews are in from the top critics in the business. It turns out that the movie received mostly positive praise with an overall 69 score out of a 100 score across 38 reviews at the Metacritic.com site.

Summit Entertainment (Lionsgate) released their new comedy/sports flick, “Draft Day” into theaters today, and the top critics have submitted their reviews. It turns out that it’s not a complete disaster, garnering up an overall mixed score of 52 out of a possible 100 across 23 reviews over at Metacritic.com.

The movie stars: Kevin Costner, Jennifer Garner, Ellen Burstyn, Denis Leary, Frank Langella, Chadwick Boseman, and Sean Combs. We’ve added snippets from a few of the critics, below.

Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Pictures finally released their new “Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier” super hero/action flick into theaters today, and all the reviews from the top movie critics are in. It looks like good news for the film as it garnered up mostly positive reactions with an overall 70 score out of 100 across 39 reviews over at Metacritic.com.

New Veronica Mars 2,sequel or TV Show reboot might happen,Producer wants to do it. According to a recent report from The Wrap, Veronica Mars creator/producer, Rob Thomas, showed up at Paleyfest in Hollywood,CA this past week, and talked about the possibilities of the brand new Veronica Mars movie being the catalyst for even more opportunities, like a possible sequel or even a reboot of the TV show,all together.

Apparently, it’s being reported that Amazon or Netflix might be interested in rebooting the TV show on their networks. Rob told them: “The idea of a Netflix or Amazon order excites me to no end. I would love it. I would love to be able to do the R-rated version of ‘Veronica Mars.’ I would love to tell some darker stories. It’s a noir show, Veronica’s an adult now. I would certainly listen to that. Hopefully, people would line up for that as well. I’ve said many times. New RoboCop 2014 movie delivered great hardcore action,drama & more. Columbia Pictures (Sony) released their new action/sci-fi/remake flick, “RoboCop,” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was pretty entertaining, serving up lots of action, coupled with intense drama, and more. The movie stars: Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K. Williams, Jay Baruchel, Jennifer Ehle, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste.

In the new flick, the year is set in 2028, and revolves around good cop, Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) and this OmniCorp company that’s desperately trying to get approval for their army of robot protectors be put on American soil so they can maximize their revenue and profits. However, they keep getting turned down, because the American public doesn’t feel good about an emotionless robot trying to protect them. Read more »

The episode is titled, “Sunrise.”
