Ozzie & Harriet’s David Nelson died today at age 74. According to TMZ, David Nelson who starred in the very popular classic sitcom “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet,” died today at age 74. David was the last surviving member of the cast.

The show was on the air from 1952-1966,which is a really,really long time for a TV sitcom. The show featured David and his brother Ricky Nelson who was a huge singing star that died in 1985 via a plane crash at age 45. And,of course,the show featured their parents Ozzie and Harriet. Read more »

2010 American Music Awards winners get revealed. The 2010 American Music Awards took place last night In Los Angeles,California at the Nokia Theatre,and it was very entertaining. It featured performances from Justin Bieber,Miley Cyrus,Usher,Ne-Yo,New Kids on the Block & Backstreet Boys together, the Black Eyed Peas,and more.

It was a real crowd pleaser. Justin Bieber took home a bunch of awards,including “Artist Of The Year.” With no further ado her are your 2010 American Music Awards winners.

Top critics gave new ‘Skyline’ movie mostly negative reviews so far. Universal Pictures released their new sci-fi thriller flick “Skyline” into theaters today,and the top movie critics,for the most part” don’t appear to be to impressed with it so far.

It’s still early,though. Only three reviews are in right now,but if they’re any indication of the rest of the pack,the ratings might not turn out so great. The movie stars: Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, Scottie Thompson, and Brittany Daniel.

Kim Newman at Empire gave it a respectable C+ rating. She said, “Technically ambitious, dramatically basic. Still, it’s a major step up from an AvP sequel and delivers all the Saturday night whizz-bang and Sunday morning brain-ripping you could want.” Read more »

The 2010 Country Music Awards took place last night in Nashville,Tennessee,and brought out stars like: Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Reba McEntire, Kid Rock, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban,Gwyneth Paltrow,and more. Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert turned out to be the big winners last night.

Country music starlet Carrie Underwood hosted the event,along with Brad Paisley. Singing star Sheryl Crow and Miranda Lambert paid tribute to Loretta Lynn for her amazing career in country music. DreamWorks Animation released their new animated,comedy flick “Megamind” into theaters today,and most of the top movie critics gave it positive,glowing reviews. The movie stars: Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill, David Cross, J.K. Simmons, Justin Theroux, Ben Stiller,and Tom McGrath.

Wesley Morris at the Boston Globe gave it a B. He stated, “deliriously handsome.” Roger Ebert at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a B. He said, “an amusing family entertainment and gains some energy from clever dialogue and the fun Will Ferrell has with his character.”

Michael Phillips at the Chicago Tribune gave it a C+. He said, “Moderately funny though immoderately derivative.” Owen Gleiberman at Entertainment Weekly gave it a B+. Wesley Morris at the Boston Globe gave it a C. He stated, “a rather pat, occasionally desperate road comedy.” Roger Ebert at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a B-. He said, “it does have some very big laughs. Unfortunately, the story holding them together isn’t as successful.”

They say that James has locked in a deal with Fox to make Avatar 2 and 3,and will be due out in theaters by December 2014 and December 2015,respectively.
