Top critics gave new ‘Due Date’ comedy movie mixed reviews. Warner Bro. Pictures released their new comedy flick “Due Date” into theaters today and the top movie critics delivered pretty mixed reviews on this one, giving it Bs,Cs,and D. The movie stars: Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis, Michelle Monaghan, Jamie Foxx, Juliet Lewis, Danny McBride, and RZA.

Wesley Morris at the Boston Globe gave it a C. He stated, “a rather pat, occasionally desperate road comedy.” Roger Ebert at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a B-. He said, “it does have some very big laughs. Unfortunately, the story holding them together isn’t as successful.”

They say that James has locked in a deal with Fox to make Avatar 2 and 3,and will be due out in theaters by December 2014 and December 2015,respectively. Walt Disney Pictures released their new drama flick “Secretariat” into theaters today,and the top movie critics in the business seem to like it for the most part,giving it mostly As and Bs. Paramount Vantage released their new horror flick “Case 39” into theaters today,and the top critics don’t seem to be to impressed with it so far. Right now,only three reviews are in,so it might pick up some steam later on. The movie stars: Renée Zellweger, Jodelle Ferland, Ian McShane, Bradley Cooper, Kerry O’Malley, Callum Keith Rennie, Adrian Lester, Georgia Craig, and Cynthia Stevenson.

Last night, the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards took place in Los Angeles,California at the Nokia Theatre,and featured awesome performances from hot entertainers like Eminem,Rihanna,Justin Bieber,Taylor Swift,Drake,Mary J. Blige,Swizz Beatz,Usher,Linkin Park,Kanye West,and more. Lady Gaga appeared to be the big winner,taking home about 8 awards. It was pretty damn impressive. Comedian Robert Schimmel died last night due to car accident. According to TMZ, comedian Robert Schimmel died last night due to some serious injuries incurred from a car accident last week. They say Robert died last night in a Phoenix hospital due to injuries sustained in a car accident last week. He was 60 years old.

It was previously reported that Robert was the passenger in a serious car accident after his daughter,who was driving at the time, swerved to avoid an accident. She is still in the hospital,but is expected to be ok. Robert was a stand up comedian whose material was often X-rated and controversial. I suspect that a lot of them were shut out from doing early screenings of the movie since we’ve only three reviews in so far for this flick. However, it’s garnered two Bs and a C so far.
