New The Boy Next Door Movie Received Mostly Negative Reviews From Major Critics

Universal Pictures released their new drama/thriller flick, “The Boy Next Door” into theaters today, and the top,major movie critics have delivered their reviews. It turns out that most of them just didn’t take to it too well, giving it an overall 31 score out of a possible 100 across 27 reviews at the Metacritic.com site.

The movie stars: Kristin Chenoweth, John Corbett, Jennifer Lopez and Ryan Guzman. We’ve added blurbs from a couple of the critics, below.

Claudia Puig at USA Today, gave it a 63 score, stating: “Predictable and foolishly unsuspecting characters react in ways that make you want to shake them. But there’s an undeniable sense of silly fun in this erotic thriller.” Read more »

New The Woman in Black 2 Movie Received Mixed Reviews From Major Critics

Relativity Media released their new horror/thriller film, “The Woman In Black 2: Angel of Death,” into theaters today, and the reviews are in from the top,major movie critics in the biz. It came back with mixed reviews, getting an overall 45 score out of a possible 100 across 12 reviews at the Metacritic.com site.

The film stars: Helen McCrory, Jeremy Irvine and Phoebe Fox. We’ve added blurbs from a couple of the critics, below. Ben Kenigsberg over at The New York Times, gave it a 50 score, saying: “The director, Tom Harper, seems less interested in allegory than in monotonous, conventional goosing, the kind that involves flickering lights and a creaky rocking chair.”

New Annie 2014 Movie Received Mostly Negative Reviews From Major Critics

Columbia Pictures (Sony) released their new comedy/musical “Annie” 2014 remake flick into theaters this weekend, and the top,major movie critics have all submitted their reviews. It turns out that it was very unliked by most of them with an overall 33 score out of a possible 100 over at the Metacritic.com site.

The movie stars: Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, Bobby Cannavale, Rose Byrne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, David Zayas, and Quvenzhané Wallis. We’ve added blurbs from a couple of the critics,below.

Matt Zoller Seitz at RogerEbert.com, gave it a decent 75 score, stating: ” Annie is light on its feet, frothy, and always insistently, at times provocatively kind, determined to melt grumpy hearts like marshmallows.” Read more »

New Transformers 5 Brief Movie Details Revealed By Mark Wahlberg,New Clip

Recently, MTV News caught up to Transformers 4 lead star, Mark Wahlberg (left), while he was promoting his new flick, “The Gambler,” and he gave some very brief details for the upcoming “Transformers 5” flick, just confirming that he is signed on, and that filming will most likely start filming sooner rather than later. In the new clip, Mark told them: “Yeah, I committed to doing a couple more… you know I can’t speak for Mr. Bay, but something tells me we’ll be on the set soon.” Read more »

New Penguins of Madagascar Movie Received Mixed Reviews From Major Critics

20th Century Fox and DreamWorks Animation released their new comedy/animation film, “Penguins of Madagascar,” into theaters this past Wednesday and all the top,major critics have submitted their reviews. It turns out that about half the group liked it with mixed results. It got an overall 53 score out of a possible 100 across 30 reviews at the Metacritic.com site.

New Gone Girl Movie Received Mostly Positive Reviews From Major Critics

20th Century FOX released their new drama/thriller movie, “Gone Girl” into theaters today, and all the reviews are in from the major,top movie critics, and it turns out to have resonated quite well with most of them, getting an overall 79 score out of a possible 100 across 45 reviews at the Metacritic.com site.

Columbia Pictures (Sony) released their new action flick, “The Equalizer” into theaters this weekend, and the top critics have submitted their reviews. It ended up pleasing roughly half of them, getting an overall 57 score out of a possible 100 across 41 reviews over at Metacritic.com.

Richard Roeper at the Chicago Sun-Times, gave it a nice 88 score, saying: “The Equalizer features some gruesomely creative violence, but it’s equally memorable for the small, gritty moments set in that diner, or on the rough-and-tumble streets of Boston. New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Sequel Movie Confirmed,Release Date Already Revealed

According to a new repot from IGN and numerous other sources, Paramount Pictures officially announced that they are indeed making a sequel to the recent 2014 “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” flick that did very well during its opening weekend, taking over the number 1 spot from “Guardians of The Galaxy” with a whopping $65 million in ticket sales.

The announcement came yesterday, August 10th, and the release date is already set for June 3rd,2016, so mark that date on your movie calendars. Producer Michael Bay is expected to return, along with screenwriters,Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, who will also executive produce the sequel. Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 Sequel To Definitely More Peter Quill Father Storyline,New Details

According to a recent report from Comicbookmovie.com, IGN recently chatted up Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, and he dished a few,new spoiler teases that we might see in the new “Guardians Of The Galaxy 2” sequel flick. It turns out that the storyline will heavily feature more of that whole Peter Quill’s father twist.

Kevin definitely confirmed it when asked about it, by stating: “I think it’s pretty important,” he teased. “I think there’s a reason we seeded it at the very end of the film like that. New Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 Sequel Possible Spoilers Revealed By Director James Gunn

As previously reported, The Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise is already set to get a 2nd installment/sequel released into theaters by July 28th, 2017. And director, James Gunn, has already revealed possible ideas/spoilers that he has cooked up. It turns out that we’re definitely going to see some stuff about Peter Quill’s father. More stuff on the Nebula character. Additional stuff about Yondu, Drax and more.

James Gunn’s spoilery statements read like this: “I know a lot of where I want to go. I have a lot of ideas for stories and characters that are going to appear, and there are documents written up, that some people have, about Peter Quill’s father and his relationship, a lot of stuff about Yondu and a lot of stuff about Drax that nobody knows.

There are a lot of things that are part of the overall schematic that already exist, not to mention a lot of stuff about all of the cultures. There’s a lot of stuff about Xandarian and Kree culture that I’ve written down or I have in my head, as well as Krylorians and Ravagers. Read more »
