New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Sequel Movie Confirmed,Release Date Already Revealed

According to a new repot from IGN and numerous other sources, Paramount Pictures officially announced that they are indeed making a sequel to the recent 2014 “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” flick that did very well during its opening weekend, taking over the number 1 spot from “Guardians of The Galaxy” with a whopping $65 million in ticket sales.

The announcement came yesterday, August 10th, and the release date is already set for June 3rd,2016, so mark that date on your movie calendars. Producer Michael Bay is expected to return, along with screenwriters,Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, who will also executive produce the sequel. According to a recent report from Comicbookmovie.com, IGN recently chatted up Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, and he dished a few,new spoiler teases that we might see in the new “Guardians Of The Galaxy 2” sequel flick. It turns out that the storyline will heavily feature more of that whole Peter Quill’s father twist.

Kevin definitely confirmed it when asked about it, by stating: “I think it’s pretty important,” he teased. “I think there’s a reason we seeded it at the very end of the film like that. New Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 Sequel Possible Spoilers Revealed By Director James Gunn

As previously reported, The Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise is already set to get a 2nd installment/sequel released into theaters by July 28th, 2017. And director, James Gunn, has already revealed possible ideas/spoilers that he has cooked up. It turns out that we’re definitely going to see some stuff about Peter Quill’s father. More stuff on the Nebula character. Additional stuff about Yondu, Drax and more.

James Gunn’s spoilery statements read like this: “I know a lot of where I want to go. I have a lot of ideas for stories and characters that are going to appear, and there are documents written up, that some people have, about Peter Quill’s father and his relationship, a lot of stuff about Yondu and a lot of stuff about Drax that nobody knows.

There are a lot of things that are part of the overall schematic that already exist, not to mention a lot of stuff about all of the cultures. There’s a lot of stuff about Xandarian and Kree culture that I’ve written down or I have in my head, as well as Krylorians and Ravagers. Read more »

New The Purge 2 Anarchy Movie Received Mixed Reviews From Major Critics

Universal Pictures released their new horror/thriller flick, “The Purge 2: Anarchy” into theaters this weekend, and all the top movie critics have turned in their reviews. It got a pretty mediocre/mixed response from them with an overall 49 score out of a possible 100 across 31 reviews at the Metacritic.com site.

The film stars: Frank Grillo, Michael K. Williams, Carmen Ejogo, Zach Gilford, Kiele Sanchez, and Keith Stanfield. We’ve added blurbs from a few of the critics,below.

Manohla Dargis from The New York Times, gave it a 70 grade, saying: “Kill or be killed isn’t the official tag line of The Purge: Anarchy, but it fits. Paramount Pictures released their new action/drama flick, “Noah” into theaters this weekend, and the reviews are in from the top,major movie critics. It ended up,getting mostly positive reviews with an overall score of 68 out of a possible 100 across 37 reviews over at Metacritic.com.

New Angelina Jolie ‘Maleficent’ 90 second movie trailer hit the net. The other night, Disney Pictures dropped this new, 90 second movie trailer (below) for their upcoming fantasy/thriller flick, “Maleficent,” starring movie goddess, Angelina Jolie, as the evil Maleficent character, and it looks pretty interesting and cool. It serves up great special effects as Maleficent uses her magical powers to put young girls to sleep, throws and army of guards to only God knows where, and so much more. Check it out,below.

New Wolf Of Wall Street Movie Got Mostly Very Good Reviews From Top Critics

New Wolf Of Wall Street movie got mostly very good reviews from top critics. Paramount Pictures released their new drama flick, “The Wolf Of Wall Street” into theaters on December 25th,2013 and the reviews are in from the top movie critics. Most of them seemed to like it as it got a very good 76 score out of 100 across 44 critic reviews at metacritic.com. We posted a few of their snippets (below). The movie stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Matthew McConaughey, Jon Favreau, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Jean Dujardin, Pj Byrne,and Kenneth Choi.

Mick LaSalle at the San Francisco Chronicle, gave it a great 100 score, stating, “It is the best and most enjoyable American film to be released this year.” Betsy Sharkey at the Los Angeles Times, gave it another 100 score, stating, “A very fast three hours, Wolf is a fascinating, revolting, outlandish, uproarious, exhilarating and exhausting master work on immorality.”

Peter Travers at Rolling Stone, gave it a 100 as well. He said:” DiCaprio’s swaggering, swinging-dick performance is the wildest damn thing he’s ever put onscreen.” Bill Goodykoontz at the Arizona Republic, gave it a 90 score, stating, ” Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street is absurd, ridiculous, over the top, overindulgent, overlong, overstuffed, over-everythinged. Fast And Furious Paul Walker sadly died in fiery car crash today. Damn ya’ll!! It’s true. CNN just confirmed with Paul Walker’s publicist, Amevan Iden, that he did truly die in a fiery car crash earlier today, November 30th, in Southern California at the age of 40. Unfortunately, the publicist could give no further details other than the initial statements of Paul’s passing.

They went on to report that Paul (left) was a passenger in a friend’s car and both were attending a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide, in Santa Clarita,CA, which is about 30 miles north of Hollywood. The fatal crash went down at around 3:30 p.m., about 300 yards from the office park where the event was held. Read more »

According to a new report from Comicbookmovie.com, Avatar, Jake Sully star, Sam Worthington, recently chatted it up with Ryan Fitzgerald and Michael Wipfli on their breakfast radio show in Australia, and revealed some new filming details for the 2nd installment of the Avatar franchise as well as the 3rd and 4th installments.

Sam told them that Avatar 2 is expected to now start filming in October 2014. A lot of the writing process for the second part of the ‘Avatar’ quadrilogy has already been completed by director, James Cameron. New Star Trek 3 movie to start filming in 2014 and new details revealed by Spock actor. According to a new report from Comicbookmovie.com, Star Trek, Spock star, Zachary Quinto recently chatted it up with Buzzhub, and revealed that he thinks Star Trek 3 is scheduled to star up filming in 2014. In addition to that, he claims that it will film a lot faster than part 2 did, and director J.J. Abrams will somehow return despite his huge commitment to direct the big Star Wars: Episode VII flick.

In their statement,they said: “Star Trek 3 should be filming, I suppose, next year. It’s going to be made a lot quicker than the last one. That’s the plan, although nothing is confirmed yet.” Later on in the interview, Quinto said he would not like to reunite with J.J Abrams for Star Wars: Episode VII without reason.
