Tyler Perry addresses Spike Lee’s insulting comments,according to BET. Apparently in a recent interview,movie director Spike Lee said that he believes Tyler Perry’s “Meet the Browns,” “House of Payne,” and “Madea” movies are coonery and buffoonery.
Then last night on “60 Minutes,” Tyler Perry addressed those comments by stating, “Madea is a cross between my mother and my aunt. She’s the type of grandmother that was on every corner when I was growing up.She smoked. She walked out of the house with her curlers and her muumuu and she watched everybody’s kids.
