New 'Chronicle' movie delivered great drama,action,special effects & more. 20th Century Fox released their new sci-fi/drama flick "Chronicle" into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and I thought it was a very entertaining watch as it delivered a ton of action,thrills,drama,and even some comedy. The movie stars: Dane DeHaan, Michael B. Jordan, Alex Russell,and Michael Kelly. In the film, three teenagers Andrew,Matt,and Steve make a shocking discovery underground one night. After that,they started to develop wicked telekinetic powers that only grew stronger with time. Eventually,they're were even able to fly and shield themselves with the power. Intent on having fun with their new abilities,they ran around town,playing tricks on people in stores and such. However, the fun stops for a spell,when unstable Andrew made a car go off the road,nearly killing the driver. After getting past that,they try and help Andrew get out of his shell a little bit,and meet girls after winning a talent show with his new powers. Unfortunately,Andrew's problems at home,got the better of him as he had an abusive father that liked to slap him around and a mother who was dying because they couldn't afford her medication. Andrew eventually uses his powers for bad to steal money for his mother's health medication. Unfortunately,for Andrew, this got him into a terrible accident that landed him the hospital. But the fun,picked right back up when his abusive father came to visit him in the hospital,and started shouting at him,leading Andrew to completely go off the deep end.

New Woman In Black movie delivered spooky thrills,drama & crazy ending. CBS Films released their new drama/thriller flick "The Woman In Black" this weekend,featuring Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe in the lead role. I just checked it,and I thought it was ok. The trailer seemed a lot more entertaining than the actual movie. It stars : Daniel Radcliffe, Ciaran Hinds, Liz White, Janet McTeer, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire,and Lucy May Barker. In the film, A young lawyer named Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) landed a job to travel to a remote village to sort out papers for a recently deceased client. Unfortunately,for him,things didn't go very smoothly as he started to get spooked in the house,and also saw a mysterious woman,dressed only in black. He also began to uncover tragic secrets about the mysterious lady that prompted him to find out her identity and backstory. Arthur eventually finds out that the townspeople believe the "Woman in Black" comes for their children as revenge for her child Nathaniel being taken from her. They also started blaming Arthur for recent deaths of their children.,because they believed that anytime someone saw the mysterious woman,she would come for their children. After numerous,kid,suicides continued, Arthur realized he needed to find Nathaniel's body,and reunite him with the Lady In Black,and also give him a proper burial. That's when the most intense fun began as Arthur and Sam went back into the haunted house to reunite the lady with her son.

New 'The Grey' movie delivered intense drama,thrills,action & unfinished ending. Open Road Films released their new,intense drama flick "The Grey" into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and I thought it was a pretty good watch. However,if you're looking for a good ending,or an ending at all,this isn't the movie to get it from. They left the ending completely up to our imaginations. Even though they did leave the ending incomplete,it was pretty clear what might have happened. The movie stars: Liam Neeson, Frank Grillo, Dermot Mulroney, Dallas Roberts, Joe Anderson, James Badge Dale,and Nonso Anozie. In the film, character John Ottway (Liam Neeson) and his oil drilling team take a plane ride home from Alaska. Unfortunately, for them, the plane is unable to withstand the weather and it crashes in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness,basically nowhere. As the men search for food and shelter,they noticed a wolf was on the scene,and it ultimately turned out to be one of a huge heard of the vicious creatures. Now knowing they are being hunted,they quickly try to make there way into the trees,and to eventually find some sort of shelter or civilization. However,their streak of bad luck continues as each of the men steadily get picked off, either by the wolves,the cold,drowning,or just plain giving up. Eventually,only Ottway is left standing as the wolves,the running,and the extremely cold blizzard proved to be too much for the other guys.

New 'Man On A Ledge' movie delivered great drama,action,suspense & more. Summit Entertainment released their new action/thriller flick "Man On A Ledge" into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and it turned out to be a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I mean, I new it would be pretty good,but it really went above and beyond with the action,thrills,suspense,great twists,and more. I thought Sam Worthington did a real good job with this role too. It stars: Sam Worthington, Elizabeth Banks, Jamie Bell, Anthony Mackie, Ed Harris, Edward Burns, Titus Welliver, Genesis Rodriguez,and Kyra Sedgwick. In the flick, officer Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington) has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for a crime he adamantly believes he didn't do. One day, his partner Mike Ackerman gets him permission out of jail to attend a funeral under police watch. However,Nick gets in a crazy fight with his brother Joey Cassidy,and gets away. Little did everyone know, the fight was actually staged,so Nick could actually carry out a more elaborate plan,with Joey's help,to prove his innocence. Nick was framed by a guy named Englander for stealing a very expensive diamond,and cutting it up into pieces,while on duty. At this point, Nick has made his way to a rooftop of the Roosevelt Hotel,using a fake name to check in. He's now posing as a jumper to help keep attention away from his brother and girlfriend,who are breaking into Englander's jewelry store

New 'Underworld 4,Awakening' movie delivered cool action,special effects & more. Screen Gems (Sony) released their new action/sci-fi flick "Underworld 4: Awakening." I just checked it out,and I thought it was a great watch,once again,as it featured the return of sexy,Kate Backinsale as the very skillful death dealer vampire Selene and the sexy,black leather she dons. Oh,yeah,and she totally kicked butt in it too. The movie stars: Kate Beckinsale, Stephen Rea, Michael Ealy, Theo James, India Eisley,and Charles Dance. In the movie, Selene finds herself in a world where the humans have found out about the Lycans and Vampires,and are trying to exterminate them all. Selene fights for her life,and manages to do a good job. However,her and her hybrid lover Michael eventually get captured by the humans and are cryogenically frozen for testing and experimentation. 12 years later,thinking they had everything under control,the humans attempted to thaw Selene out a little bit. Unfortunately for them,it was a little bit too much as Selene broke out,and started slaying them off one by one,and in packs. She was badass. She started searching for her lover Michael. However,her quest, eventually led her to find her hybrid daughter Eve. From this point,she learns that the Lycans survived the extermination process due to a conspiracy and have come back stronger by using Eve's blood for experiments. The experiments have made them bigger and able to survive silver attacks,making them almost invulnerable. However,there's only two of them that have that capability at the moment,but they were planning to expand.

New Haywire movie delivered great hardcore fight scenes,complex plot & more. Relativity Media recently released their new,intense,action flick "Haywire" into theaters this weekend. I just got done checking it out,and I thought it was pretty good. I didn't like the plot as much as I thought I would. It was just ok for me. The action scenes were great when they started up as they were pretty brutal. The movie stars: Gina Carano, Channing Tatum, Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas, Bill Paxton, Michael Douglas,and Michael Angarano. In the flick,female covert ops specialist Mallory Kane (Gina Carano) escapes a crazy diner fight she had with her ex-lover and co-worker Aaron (Channing Tatum) with the help of a civilian named Scott. Her and Scott end up taking off in his car to get away, after Mallory knocks Aaron unconscious. As they're driving along,Mallory tells Scott her whole backstory,which had her and Aaron being hired by government agent Coblenz (Michael Douglas) and his contact, Rodrigo (Antonio Banderas) to rescue a man called Jiang, who was captured in Barcelona. Mallory and Aaron succeeded in their mission. After that, the firm's director Kenneth offered her one last job,which was to pose as the wife of a British agent named Paul during a mission in Dublin. Mallory reluctantly agreed,and went to do the job. However, Mallory eventually realizes she's been setup when she sees Paul killing Jiang,who she helped rescue.

New 'Joyful Noise' movie delivered a ton of drama,highly emotional performances & more. Warner Bros. Pictures released their new musical/drama flick "Joyful Noise" into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was ok. It delivered some very emotional and entertaining performances,along with a lot of drama. It stars: Queen Latifah, Dolly Parton, Keke Palmer, Courtney B. Vance, Jeremy Jordan,and Kris Kristofferson. In the flick, a character named Vi Rose Hill (Queen Latifah) gets the position of choir director over Dolly Parton's character G.G. Sparrow in the Divinity Church Choir. However, a conflict arises when Vi's old tired songs keep causing the choir to lose the National Joyful Noise Competition. When G.G.'s grandson Randy Garrity comes to town,he quickly weaves his way into the fold of the choir and Vi's daughter Olivia Hill. However, stubborn Vi doesn't like Randy,and is constantly trying to keep him from dating Olivia throughout the movie,thinking he's nothing but trouble. This also causes major conflict between Olivia and Vi,delivering some very,jaw slapping,intense drama scenes between the two characters. However,even through all that,the choir,Randy,Oliva,and Vi are able to come together to make some beautiful music after Randy is finally

New 'Contraband' movie delivered great action,drama & wild twists. Universal Pictures recently released their new action/thriller flick "Contraband" into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and I thought it was pretty good as Mark Wahlberg delivered some pretty intense,action-filled,suspenseful scenes. The movie stars: Mark Wahlberg, Kate Beckinsale, Ben Foster, Giovanni Ribisi, Caleb Landry Jones, Lukas Haas, Diego Luna,and J.K. Simmons. In the flick,character Chris Farraday (Mark Wahlberg) gets forced back into a life of crime after his brother-in-law Andy messes up a drug deal for his crazy,ruthless boss Tim Briggs. So, Chris has to do what he does best,and run a mega contraband to smuggle in millions of counterfeit bills to pay the debt. He quickly assembles a crew to head on over to Panama City to do the job. Things run smoothly at first,but unfortunately, Andy screwed up again,and puts Chris in a difficult position of helping a psycho pull off an armored truck heist. When that plan goes to hell, Chris quickly finds himself dodging tons of police bullets in hopes of still escaping from this mess. He and his partner somehow make it out,alive,and with the cash to boot. But this was just the beginning as Chris had to deal with the twisting fact that his best friend Sebastian Abney betrayed him,and his wife was in danger,all while trying to dump the money and drugs in a place that security agents couldn't search and find them.

New 'The Devil Inside' movie delivered lots of weird thrills,drama & crazy ending. Paramount Pictures released their crazy,new thriller/horror flick "The Devil Inside" into theaters this weekend. I just got through checking it out,and at the very least,I found it to be quite interesting as well as entertaining. It served up some wild,exorcism scenes that ended quite brutally,and more. The movie stars: Fernanda Andrade, Isabella Rossi, Simon Quarterman, Evan Helmuth, Ionut Grama, Suzan Crowley, Bonnie Morgan, Brian Johnson, Preston James Hillier,and D.T. Carney. In the flick,a lady named Maria Rossi called 911 back in 1989,claiming,she killed three people. She was eventually sent to a Catholic psychiatric hospital in Rome,Italy,where she continued to just get worse. Next,it cut 20 years to 2009,where her daughter named Isabella (Fernanda Andrade) goes on a journey to look for answers as to what happened to her crazy mother. Her journey led her to a demonic possession class,where they studied what particular facts to look for when trying to determine if someone is possessed or not. Isabella eventually hooked up with a couple of priests in the class,and eventually gets them involved in exorcising the crazy, 4 demons that resided in her mother. Unfortunately,this really didn't pan out well as the demon,residing in Maria, was damn powerful. So powerful,in fact,that it tossed everyone around the room. When they were finally able to get things back under control,the demon appeared to had left Maria. However,that left another huge problem. The demon,apparently,hopped in someone else.

New 'The Darkest Hour' movie delivered great thrills,special effects,action & more. Summit Entertainment dropped their new sci-fi/thriller flick "The Darkest Hour" into theaters today. I just watched it,and I thought it was pretty spectacular,and had a great plot. It was extremely suspenseful,and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The movie stars: Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, Rachael Taylor,and Joel Kinnaman. Two guy friends Sean and Ben hit up Moscow,and appeared to be enjoying the club scene. They hooked up with two gorgeous chicks Natalie and Anne,while partying it up. However, things quickly turn dark,which seems appropriate as it has to do with the title of this movie. All the club partiers walk outside to see alien light forms floating from the sky. They seemed mesmerized by it at first,but after one of them totally smokes a cop into dust,the total panic fest began. Everyone started scrambling,while the aliens dusted all the extras,one by one. The original four,plus one German guy, all manage to hide out in the basement of the club until everything cleared out. Afterwards, they immediately ran to find help,and eventually found another survivor girl,along with a mad scientist,who's developed a gun that can tear down the aliens' microwave energy shield long enough for them to shoot them,and kill them.
