‘The Lovely Bones’ movie told a pretty interesting yet long story. Dreamworks Picture unleashed its long,interesting movie, “The Lovely Bones” this weekend in nationwide release. I just watched it,and it was pretty interesting and unique,but I think it ran way too long. Towards the end, I was like, can we wrap this up already? Maybe it was because I had to pee. I don’t know,but I was ready for it to be over about 30 minutes before it actually ended. It stars: Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Michael Imperioli, and Saoirse Ronan.
“The Lovely Bones” movie revolves around a young 14 year old girl named Susie Salmon (Saoirse Ronan), and her family. Susie is a very happy girl until one day her neighbor, George Harvey (Stanley Tucci) from across the street becomes responsible for her untimely death.
‘The Book of Eli’ movie delivered action,Denzel, & The Holy Bible. Warner Bros. Pictures new action packed flick, “The Book of Eli” movie hit theaters this weekend. It delivered a lot of good fighting action,explosions,along with Denzel trying to deliver the Holy Bible. It stars: Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, Mila Kunis, Ray Stevenson, Jennifer Beals, Frances de la Tour, Michael Gambon, Evan Jones, Joe Pingue, and Tom Waits.
“The Book of Eli” movie revolves around the character, Eli (Denzel Washington) who has been walking the Earth for the past 30 years after it had been burned out. He discovers that the new generation of people can’t read,think for themselves,and held captive by some of the evil, older people who can. His whole mission is to deliver a mysterious book out west.
‘Youth In Revolt’ movie brought hysterical comedy to the big screen. “Youth In Revolt,” which is Dimension Films new comedy flick, came out this weekend and it was a whole lot better than I thought it would be. The movie trailers really don’t do it justice. It was filled with hysterically funny scenes,and almost kind of reminded me of “Superbad,” in the fact that they just kept the laughs coming. It never let up,not for one second. Michael Cera has a unique personality that just really cracks me up. The movie stars: Michael Cera, Portia Doubleday, Steve Buscemi, Ray Liotta, Justin Long, Jean Smart, Ari Graynor, Fred Willard, Zach Galifianakis, Mary Kay Place, and Rooney Mara .
“Youth In Revolt” revolved around character, Nick Twisp (Michael Cera) . He’s just an ordinary good ole guy until he meets the future love of his life,Sheeni Saunders (Portia Doubleday).
‘Daybreakers’ movie delivered an interesting,action filled vampire story. Lionsgate released their new vampire horror flick this weekend entitled, “Daybreakers.” I just got done watching it,and was pleasantly surprised at how interesting the story was,and all the intense action scenes the movie delivered. It was definitely way better than I thought it would be. It stars: Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Claudia Karvan, Michael Dorman, Vince Colosimo, Isabel Lucas,and Sam Neill.
“Daybreakers” revolved around good vampire, Edward Dalton who was turned by his brother,but not by his own free will. The setting of the movie, was that the population had been taken over by vampires and they were running out of human blood. Edward’s was one of the main doctors trying to create a blood replacement,but through unforeseen circumstances, he eventually teams up with a couple of the only few humans left,and they lead him to finding a cure.
‘Sherlock Holmes’ movie delivered good action & comedy scenes. Warner Bros. Pictures delivered their new “Sherlock Holmes” movie this weekend. I just finished watching it. It was pretty entertaining,delivering some good action and comedy scenes. It stars: Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan, and Kelly Reilly.
“Sherlock Holmes” revolved around characters, Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his sidekick, Dr. John Watson (Jude Law) . They finally capture the evil Lord Blackwood,and he gets sentenced to death by hanging,or so it would appear. However, he manages to come back from the dead,so Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are brought back on the case to help bring him down.
‘Alvin And The Chipmunks’ 2 movie brought laughs & entertainment. 20th Century Fox’s new “Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakuel” movie hit theaters this weekend. I just got through checking it out. Contrary to other reviews I read,it was quite entertaining and brought plenty of laughs and entertainment. It stars: Jason Lee, Justin Long, David Cross, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Anna Faris, Christina Applegate, Amy Poehler, and Zachary Levi.
In “Alvin and The Chipmunks: The squeakuel,” the chipmunks are now being taken care of by Toby (Zachary Levi) because Dave is in the hospital. They now have to go to school,which seemed a bit too unrealistic,even for this type of movie,but oh well.
James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ movie delivered high tech adventure & a great story. 20th Century Fox’s most anticipated movie of the year, James Cameron’s “Avatar” finally hit theaters this weekend,and I must say it certainly did not disappoint.It filled the full 2 hours and 40 minutes with an awesome story,coupled with great special effects,action, and adventure.

“Avatar” revolved around characters, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and the Navi, Neytiri (Zoe Saldana). Jake Sully is a crippled Marine who’s twin brother died while on a mission to Pandora. Since Jake has his same DNA,they can use him for the same “Avatar” body his brother would have used.
‘Armored’ Movie delivered a lot of action & edge of your seat drama. Screen Gems released it’s new action/thriller flick, “Armored,” this weekend. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. It had some great intense action scenes. It stars: Matt Dillon, Jean Reno, Laurence Fishburne, Skeet Ulrich, Amaury Nolasco, Andre Jamal Kinney, Milo Ventimiglia, Fred Ward, and Columbus Short
“Armored” mainly focused around Columbus Short’s character, Ty Hackett. He served in the army,and his parents had just recently died,leaving him with a burdening double mortgage and a younger teenage brother to take care of. He’s now working as a guard for a an armored truck security company,transporting currency.
The turning point of the film,of course, occurs when his pal Mike Cochrone (Matt Dillon) offers him the opportunity to heist about $42 million dollars on one of their truck runs.
Ninja Assassin movie delivered very intense, graphic action. Warner Bros. Pictures unleashed their new intense,graphic action movie, “Ninja Assassin” this weekend. I just watched it,and I must say that it had to be the most graphic,violent,action packed movie I’ve ever seen. They held nothing back with this one. It stars: Rain, Naomie Harris, Ben Miles, Sho Kosugi, and Rick Yune.
“Ninja Assassin” revolved around the character, Raizo (Rain) and how he was raised by the Ozunu Clan to become a murdering Ninja Assassin.However, Ozunu knew the clan was evil,and after watching them kill his friend and murdering for them, he finally reached his last straw when they asked him to kill a girl who tried to escape the clan.
He fought back,and eventually escaped . Years later, he meets the Ozunu Clan again
Twilight ‘New Moon’ movie delivered emotion,passion & action. Summit Entertainment’s epic “Twilight Saga: New Moon” finally hit the theaters this weekend,and I must say that the final outcome was pretty interesting. There was way more to this movie than all the clips we’ve been seeing for the past 6 months,made it out to be.
As you probably already know, “Twilight Saga: New Moon” centered around the three main characters, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) ,Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson),and Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).
It started off in the same type of high school setting that we saw in “Twilight,” but it soon escalated deeper than that,after Bella and Jasper’s incident at her 18th birthday party. This incident made Edward and the rest of the Cullens decide to leave town.
