New Angelina Jolie Maleficent Movie Delivered Cool Special Effects,Major Twist & More

Walt Disney Pictures released their new Angelina Jolie branded, fantasy flick, “Maleficent,” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was pretty entertaining ,featuring a lot of great special effects,drama, a pretty big twist in the end, and more. The movie stars: Angelina Jolie, Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville.

In the new flick, we were served up some backstory for Maleficent (Angelina Jolie), which revealed why she became so evil and full of hate. It turns out she was a good child fairy at the start and helped protect a peaceable forest kingdom. She met a young lad named Stefan and eventually fell in love with him. However, Stefan had other ambitions that grew greater than his love and spending time with Maleficent.

From there, we get bumped ahead in the story’s timeline. Maleficent is all grown up now, and in the midst of protecting her forest kingdom from a dark ruler, King Henry, and his army. It just so happens that Stefan is apart of King Henry’s crew. Read more »

New Angelina Jolie ‘Maleficent’ Movie Received Mixed Reviews From Major Critics

Walt Disney Pictures released their new Angelina Jolie branded fantasy flick, “Maleficent,” into theaters today, May 30th, and all the reviews from the top movie critics are in. It turns out that it just seems to be ok,getting mixed reviews with an overall 56 score out of 100 across 38 reviews at Metacritic.com.

The movie stars: Angelina Jolie, Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville. We’ve supplied blurbs from a few of the critics,below.

Joe Neumaier at the New York Daily News, gave it a great 80 score, stating: “Angelina Jolie is so wickedly enchanting in the magical, magnificent Maleficent, you may not notice how transporting this female-driven blockbuster really is.”

Sheri Linden from the The Hollywood Reporter, gave it an 80. She stated: “A few bumpy patches notwithstanding, the new feature is an exquisitely designed, emotionally absorbing work of dark enchantment.” Read more »

New X Men,Apocalypse 7 Minutes Of Spoilers Revealed,New Clip

Recently, Comicbookmovie.com released this new,special podcast audio clip (below) where they talk with Mason, and he reveals over 7 minutes worth of new spoilers that we can expect to see from the major Apocalypse villain in the new “X-Men: Apocalypse” movie. It turns out that the X-Men will have quite a lot of work on their hands as Apocalypse seems damn near impossible to stop, and more.

In the new clip, they explain that Apocalypse is a mutant and a Cyborg, and has acquired a lot of other different technologies from other powerful beings like demigods and so on, and so forth. He has complete molecular control over himself, so he can change his size,shape,form, and what not. He can look like different people and shoot energy blasts. Read more »

New X Men,Apocalypse Spoiler Teasers Dished By Director And Screenwriter

According to a recent report from Comicbookmovie.com, “X-Men: Apocalypse” screen writer ,Simon Kinberg and director, Bryan Singer chatted with SciFi Now to deliver some initial spoiler teases for the flick. It turns out that they’re going to pretty much be able to move in any direction they want in Apocalypse and future films to follow.

They’ll be bringing back the some of the younger X-men: First Class cast for more action as well as some of the older version “X-men” cast, like Cyclops,Jean Grey,Storm, and more. To kick this segment off, Bryan told them: ” My next goal is how did the X-Men come together? That story hasn’t been told yet, so Days of Future Past is the inbetweenquel,” laughs Singer. New X Men,Apocalypse Major Apocalypse Villain Description & Plot Spoilers Revealed

Recently, “X-men: Apocalypse” screenwriter, Simon Kinberg, revealed more details of what we can expect to see in the new flick in regards to the main Apocalypse villain. It turns out that he’ll have real emotions and motivation for delivering his terror. He’ll be trying to destroy the world, because he thinks it’s a correct and valid thing to do, and more. New X Men,Apocalypse Character & Plot Spoilers Revealed By Screenwriter

According to a new report from Comicbookmovie.com, “X-Men: Apocalypse” screenwriter, Simon Kinberg, revealed new character spoilers for the new flick, which is a sequel to the “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” flick. It turns out that they are indeed going to try to bring back some of the older X-men to mingle with the First Class younger X-men, indicating that a time element will be present in this version as well.

Simon told the Daily Beast: “It will focus primarily on the First Class cast, but it will certainly have some of the original cast involved, too.” He also said that Bryan Singer is expected to return to direct. New X Men,Days Of Future Past Movie Delivered Great Action,Drama,Plot & More

20th Century FOX released their new super hero/action flick, “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was excellent ,serving up a ton of great action, intriguing plotline, suspense,special effects, and more. It stars: Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, and Shawn Ashmore.

The new flick starts off in a dystopian future, where tons of mutants are being wiped out of existence by high-powered Sentinels that are able to adapt to each mutants’ abilities, making them virtually indestructible. From there, it’s revealed that these Sentinels were created as a direct result of Mystique hunting down the Sentinels creator, Bolivar Trask, back in 1973 and killing him.

She thought it would stop the creation of the Sentinels, but instead, it drove the government to capture Mystique, and use her blood to find out how to create the ultimate Sentinels that could mimic her abilities to adapt to all mutants and destroy them. Read more »

New X Men,Days Of Future Past Movie Received Mostly Positive Reviews From Major Critics

20th Century FOX released their new super hero/action flick, “X-Men:Days Of Future Past” into theaters today, May 23rd, and the top movie critics have given their reviews. It turns out that most of them really liked it as it received an overall score of 75 out of a possible 100 across 41 reviews at the metacritic.com site.

The film stars: Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, and Shawn Ashmore. We’ve posted blurbs from a couple of the critics,below.

New Godzilla 2014 Remake Movie Delivered Great Action,Thrills & More

Warner Bros. Pictures released their new action/sci-fi flick, “Godzilla” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was pretty entertaining for the most part. It delivered a lot of thrilling,action-filled scenes, and more. It stars: Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn, and Bryan Cranston.

In the new flick, Plant supervisor, Joe Brody (Bryan Cranston), loses his wife in a Janjira Nuclear Plant near Tokyo after an explosion and radiation leak takes place in 1999. The event, attributed to an earthquake, results in the evacuation and quarantine of the Janjira area.

15 years later, Joe is still haunted by his wife’s unfortunate death, and is convinced that it was more than just an earthquake that caused the incident, and is determined to find out the truth. Joe eventually convinces his son, Ford , who is an explosive ordinance disposal officer, to accompany him to Janjira, where they discover no signs of radiation, and are arrested and taken to a secret facility built within the power plant’s ruins. New Godzilla 2014 Remake Movie Received Mostly Positive Reviews From Major Critics

Warner Bros. Pictures released their new action/sci-fi flick, “Godzilla” into theaters this weekend, and the top critics have submitted their reviews. It got mostly positives with an overall 62 score out of a possible 100 across 46 reviews at the Metacritic.com. site.

Matt Zoller Seitz from RogerEbert.com, gave it a great 88 score, saying, “The sheer filmmaking craft on display here shames almost any comparably budgeted superhero picture you can name.” Michael Phillips at the Chicago Tribune, gave it an 88 as well. He stated: ” The director thinks visually, which sounds redundant until you realize how many monster movies are flat, effects-dependent factory jobs.
