Top critics gave ‘Brooklyn’s Finest’ movie mediocre reviews. Overture films released its new crime/drama movie today entitled, “Brooklyn’s Finest.” It stars: Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke, Don Cheadle, Jesse Williams, Ellen Barkin, Wesley Snipes, Lili Taylor, Brian F. O’Byrne, Shannon Kane, Will Patton,and Vincent D’Onofrio. The top movie critics gave it pretty mediocre reviews. One of them gave it a whopping F,but besides that,it got mostly Cs and a couple of Bs.
Ty Burr from the Boston Globe gave it a C. He stated, it “feels written rather than observed.” Roger Ebert from the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a B rating. He said, “The film and the actors do a good job of establishing these characters in their own lives.”
‘Alice In Wonderland’ movie gets pretty good reviews from top critics. Walt Disney Pictures has released their new,much anticipated Tim Burton’s “Alice In Wonderland” movie today,and the top movie critics in the biz gave it pretty good reviews. However, some didn’t like it as much,giving it a few Cs,but overall, it got pretty good reviews. It stars: Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover, Matt Lucas, Mia Wasikowska, Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen, Timothy Spall, Christopher Lee, Paul Whitehouse, and Barbara Windsor.

Director, Chriz Weitz reveals new, steamy Twilight ‘Eclipse’ movie info. According to Access Hollywood, “Twilight Saga; New Moon” director, Chris Weitz has revealed some new,steamy info for the upcoming “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” film. They say Chris Weitz has given his steamy approval of the new film after he read the script for it. He talked about the sleeping bag scene, stating, “I’m looking forward to the sleeping bag scene, I gotta say. That’s going to be very steamy.”
He also revealed that he’s looking forward to seeing more of Edward’s vampire parents in the movie. He stated, “I have a special interest in seeing Peter and Elizabeth tear people’s heads off. Knowing them, and how kind of kooky and delightful they are, I’m going to find seeing them being ultra-violent very interesting indeed.”
X-Men’s Wolverine 2 movie to start filming in January. According to Showbiz411, the “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” saga will continue by filming in January. They say Wolverine 2 will start filming in January of next year,and it will be filmed in Japan. Christohper McQuarrie who wrote for “X-Men” and “Valkyrie” wrote the script. No director has been assigned to it yet. The script will be based on a story cycle by Frank Miller and Chris Claremont.
One of their sources said it will be a different and beautiful story. The source stated, “It’s a beautiful story, and will be very different than the first film.”
Disney’s Selena Gomez knocks out Nicole Kidman for new movie role. According to Variety , Selena Gomez who stars in Disney’s “Wizards of Waverly Place” has knocked out well established actress Nicole Kidman for a new movie role in “Monte Carlo.” They say that the role was originally meant for Nicole Kidman,but they decided to update the script so that it would have a younger spin on the story.
It will place two of the characters in college and one of them just out of high school.

Twilight’s Taylor Lautner ditches 2 movies & sticks with “Stretch Armstrong.” According to MTV News, “Twilight Saga” movie star, Taylor Lautner has ditched two of his current movie projects,and decided to stay with a movie called “Stretch Armstrong.” They say he dropped out of the “Northern Lights” movie with Tom Cruise and ditched the “Max Steel” movie based on the Mattel toy for the “Stretch Armstrong” movie. Their sources say that Hasbro was doing a better job with it’s movie properties than Mattel,which may have been the reason Taylor decided to dump it.
Hasbro has had better success,bringing movie success to “G.I. Joe’ and “Transformers.”
