Drake,Kanye,Lil Wayne,& Eminem Come Strong With ‘Forever’

In their new music video for the second single entitled “Forever”,which will be on the upcoming soundtrack for Lebron James “More Than a Game” documentary. The song features the hottest stars of rap : Kanye West,Lil Wayne,and Eminem.

The track was produced by Boi-1da,and was released to iTunes earlier this month. After just three days, it reached # 1 on iTunes,as the most downloaded song.

The “Forever” music video was shot in a club in Miami in early September. It was directed by Hype Williams,and premiered September 22 on BET’s 106 & Park. LeBron James makes an appearance in the video.

Pink Really Rocks It Out In ‘So What’ Song

I know Pink’s “So What” song is over a year old now,but I didn’t hear it until she performed it the other night on Jimmy Kimmel,and I must say it absolutely rocks. The song was written by Pink and was the lead single off her 5th studio album entitled, “Funhouse.”

The song was released on August of last year.It’s also featured as a downloadable song on Guitar Hero: World Tour.

Dave Meyers directed the “So What” music video and it was shown on August 22 of last year. Pink’s husband Carey Hart makes cameos throughout the video.

Green Day Rocked ‘East Jesus Nowhere’ At 2009 MTV VMA’s

Superstar rock band, “Green Day” won three 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night for “Best Rock Video,” “Best Direction,”,and “Best Cinematography” for their clip for “21 Guns.” They also performed their single, “East Jesus Nowhere” to a bunch of screaming fans.

They also welcomed a bunch of them onto the stage to rock out with them as they performed the tune.

The drummer, Tre Cool played an integral part in bringing the fans onto the stage,and it got full by the time the band finished the song.

2009 MTV VMA’s Covered Muse 1st USA TV Performance, ‘Uprising’

Muse played for a packed house at New York City’s Walter Kerr Theater the night of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards were going on. MTV was there to cover it. There was a crowd of die-hard fans in the building to witness the British Rock Group’s debut performance on American television.

They played their single entitled, “Uprising,” which is the first single off their 5th studio album entitled, “The Resistance.” They played their new song bathed in red and blue lights.

Beyonce Said, Put A Ring On It, In Her MTV VMA Performance

Beyonce performed her latest single entitled, “Sweet Dreams” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)” at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. She wore a sparkly leotard and one silver glove. Beyonce initially hit the stage alone to sing “Sweet Dreams”.

Afterwards,the lights dimmed,and she was joined by two background dancers. Next, Beyonce paused,and then she said, “Now wait.I see y’all standing up and I appreciate the love, but I want to see you put your hands together!”

Pink Dangled & Flipped In Her 2009 MTV VMA Performance

The 2009 MTV Video Music Award “Best Female Video” nominee, Pink performed her song entitled, “Sober” at the awards show last night,and she made things pretty interesting as she dangled from way up high.

She wore a shiny purple,diamond-print loetard with a pink heart pasty covering her left breast. She attached herself to a harness. Then, she ascended above the stage as her “Sober” song played throughout the auditorium.

Taylor Swift Lit Up The Subway For Her MTV VMA Performance

Country music star, Taylor Swift performed her song, “You Belong With Me” in a different fashion at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards last night. Just minutes after having her speech interrupted by Kanye West, she performed outside the venue in the city’s subways and streets.

She was dressed in a brown trench and black beanie. She started performing her song at the 42nd Street Bryant Park subway station. She then tossed off her dowdy attire to reveal a knee-length,cherry-red dress. She hopped onto the F Train and began her subway dance party.

Lady Gaga Delivered A Bloody Performance At 2009 MTV VMA’s

Lady Gaga didn’t disappoint last night,with her performance at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. She performed a few lines of “Poker Face” before she started with her new song, “Paparazzi.” She was wearing knee-high boots and a white bell-bearing unitard with a single feathered shoulder pad.

Her performance set looked like an ornate mansion. At one point she walked around the stage with a cane. She did a pirouette behind a dancer in a lily-white wheelchair and then went over to a white grand piano. She started banging the keyboard,and hoisted one of her feet up on the keyboard.

Jay-Z & Alicia Keys Moved 2009 MTV VMA Crowd With Latest Single

Jay-Z arrived late to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. He pulled up in a limousine at Radio City Music Hall about 2 hours after the show started. He closed out the show performing an ode to New York with a song entitled, “Empire State of Mind” (video below) from his latest album entitled, “The Blueprint 3.” He performed it with R&B star, Alicia Keys. Images of the Bronx Bombers stadium flashed behind Jay-Z as he rapped.

Jay-Z rapped the lyrics, “Yeah, I’m up at Brooklyn, now I’m down in Tribeca.Right next to De Niro, but I’ll be ‘hood forever/ I’m the new Sinatra and since I made it here/ I can make it anywhere, yeah, they love me everywhere.”

Janet Jackson Danced Like A Female Michael Jackson At MTV VMA’s

Janet Jackson gave a huge, incredible live performance (video below) at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards tonight to pay tribute to her “King Of Pop” brother, Michael Jackson who unfortunately passed away in June.

The performance started off with other dancers performing to Micheal Jackson’s “Thriller,” “Beat It,” “Smooth Criminal,” “Bad,” and then Janet came out to perform the last song entitled, “Scream,” which was a duet that her and Michael did a long time ago.
