According to TMZ, R&B pop star Chris Brown did indeed get into a fight with R&B singer, Rihanna on Sunday February 8,2009 which of coursed caused them to miss the Grammys Music Award Show. They went on to say that Chris hit her with his fists and caused major damage which included major contusions on both sides of her face with serious swelling and bruising. She also had a split lip, and bloody nose. She got bite marks on both her arms and several fingers. Rihanna refused to get treatment at the scene, but the cops still took pictures. Hip Hop rapper,Mike Jones 2008 single, “Cuddy Buddy”. This is the second single off his new album entitled, “Voice of The Streets”. It was produced by Bigg D and Jim Jonsin. It also features R&B singer Trey Songz, and hip hop rappers Lil Wayne and Twista. The song samples Keith Sweat’s “How Deep is Your Love”song. The song has a slow mellow hip hop beat, and a nice chorus. It sounds really good.

Ok, Britney Spears has a music tour coming up to promote her new album, “Circus” which debut on her birthday, December 2,2008. It sold more than 500,000 copies in it’s debut,and reached number 1. Former and first American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson is set to make music history on the Billboard music charts with her new single, “My Life Would Suck Without You”. It’s set to make the biggest leap to number 1 in the chart’s 50 year history by going from 97 to 1 on January 29,2009 . The reason is because it has sold 280,000 digital downloads in it’s first week of being released. It’s also doing pretty well on the radio jumping 20 spots from 58 to 38 on the hot 100 Airplay chart, and it jumped 7 spots from 27 to 18 on the Mainstream Top 40 list.

The sexy, female, r&b artist Ashanti is back with the third single off of her latest album, “The Declaration” which was released on June 3,2008,and is her fourth studio album. I think that the “Good Good”, single is very good and it features a cameo by rap / hip hop artists “Nelly” who plays her husband. Ludacris has a new,funny song out called “One More Drink”. It also features hip hop artist,T-Pain. They teamed up recently on T-Pain’s album with a song called, “Chopped N Screwed” which I previously posted on here. They make a pretty good team as this song is no let down. I absolutely love it,and it’s funny as hell.It talks about having to many drinks and dating at the same time which leads you ending up with somebody you might not want to see the next morning.

Ok, I totally love this new song from T-Pain ft. Ludacris called, “Chopped N Screwed”. Along with sounding good the message of the song has a very truthful tale of being burned by beautiful women which I’m sure most Fellas out there can relate to.If you’re one of the few who don’t,then God bless you. I also like Luda’s hilarious rap verse in the song proving that once again if you wanna hit, he’s the one you should get,get,get,get,lol!!! Also T-Pain’s unique sound and stylings keep me very much interested while watching the video. The scenes acted out in each scenario were excellent and conveyed the meaning of each verse quite well.And the chorus is the bomb diggidy. Read the rest of this entry »

MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew ” will return for a third season on January 15,2009 bringing back Mario Lopez as the host along with judges, Lil Mama(rapper),J.C. Chasez(singer/songwriter and former Nsync member),and Shane Sparks(Super dance choreographer). The show will keep the same format that it had in it’s previous two seasons. The dance teams will compete for the audience’s votes,and the judges will decide which one of the two lowest scoring crews will get sent home. Ok, I’ve got some more Robin Thicke music for you.I had to do this piece because this is like my favorite song now. It’s called, “Wanna Love You Girl” and it features Pharrell from the “Neptunes”.It’s crazy because I just discovered this song a couple of weeks ago,but apparently it came out like a year or so ago on his older album,”The Evolution of Robin Thicke” which was released on February 9,2007. I love this song because it combines the smooth hip hop beats of the ” Neptunes” with the stylish,original singing of Robin Thicke. The video is kind of orignal as well. It’s almost close to that time of year again. American Idol is gearing up for its 8th season,but it’s coming with a few changes. They are going to be showing less of the early round audition footage and more of the Hollywood week footage . Basically it means when the season starts on January 13 they will air a two hour show and another two hour show on the 14th. Then they will confine it down to just an hour show the following week and cap the audition shows off on the 29th of January.

Then the Hollywood round starts on February 3, and will get two weeks worth of shows up from just one week in past seasons. It will conclude with 36 semifinalists up from 24 in past seasons. Read the rest of this entry »
