This morning an announcement came over the airwaves,stating, that Chicago was the first destination to be eliminated from hosting the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Now, recent reports state that Tokyo and Madrid have been eliminated as well,leaving Rio de Janeiro as the winner. So, Rio de Janeiro will be hosting the 2016 Olympics,and the first games will be held in South America.

The 2016 Olympics will feature 26 sports and 38 disciplines. The 2016 Summer Paralympics will be held in in Rio de Janeiro as well,and will be organized by the same committee. Read the rest of this entry »

CW’s “Supernatural” will be airing episode 5 of season 5 next week,and it is entitled, “Fallen Idol.” We’ve got a couple of spoilers,and a promo spot for the show,after the jump. “Fallen Idols” should be a doozy, as Paris Hilton makes her guest debut on the show.

According to Popeater.com, David Letterman admitted to having sexual relationships with some of his female employees of the show,and that someone tried to extort him by releasing information about the relationships. The CBS employee who allegedly made the threat has reportedly been arrested.

They report that during a taping of his CBS late night show in New York, David Letterman actually discussed, openly, that he had received a threat to either pay up $2 million, or the sexual relationships would be exposed,publicly.

Yay, it’s totally official ! Well, we actually already new that there would be a “Transformers 3″ movie coming,not only because it grossed more than $800 million worldwide,but because Michael Bay had reported that he was currently developing the script,early last month.

What we weren’t to sure about, was if the beautiful goddess, Megan Fox would be returning. So we’ve got two stories in one for you, today.

The director, Michael Bay reported yesterday on his website that,yes, Transformers 3 will be made,but it’s date has been confirmed for July 1,2011 instead of the “up in the air” 2012 date. He said he met with ILM for five hours in San Francisco,and also met with Ehren Kruger to talk to Hasbro about new characters.

According to USA Today, Lady Gaga and Kanye West’s “Fame Kills” concert tour has been canceled. They had apparently just announced dates for it a few days ago,and then it abruptly got canceled today.

It was going to kick off on November 10 in Phoenix,and run through at least January of next year. They report that Live Nation announced the news in a brief statement earlier today,but they did not give any explanation as to why it happened. According to Cinemablend, “Resident Evil 4″ is on it’s way,and is currently in production. Also the movie is going to be in 3-D. The movie is going to be titled, “Resident Evil : Afterlife”. They report that Sony Screen Gems sent out a promo that the production of the movie has officially begun in Toronto,Canada.

They’re bringing back back all the key characters which include : Milla Jovovich as Alice,Ali Larter as Claire Redfield,and Spencer Locke as K-Mart.

They’re also bringing on a couple of new cast members,which include, Wentworth Miller as Claire’s brother Chris Redfield, and Shawn Roberts as Alice’s nemesis,Wesker. They have also casts Boris Kodjoe and Kim Coates. Their characters weren’t described.

Paul W.S. Anderson will be coming back to write,direct,and produce the film. This will be his first time working on the “Resident Evil” franchise since the first one in 2002. Read the rest of this entry »
