Cleveland’s Brady Quinn gave alleged cheap shot to Terrell Suggs in their game yesterday,according to a couple of news sources.
Apparently, Brady Quinn threw an interception and then went to tackle Terrell Suggs.However, he decided dive right into Suggs’ knees,instead. This caused Suggs to have to leave the game with a knee injury. Coach Larry Brown said, Suggs suffered a strained knee,and may miss about several weeks of play.
Michelle Wie finally takes home her first LPGA title at Lorena Ochoa Invitational. The New York Times reports that Michelle Wie scored a 3-under-par 69 to win the Lorena Ochoa Invitational,and take home her first ever L.P.G.A title.
Michelle Wie, now 20 yrs old, finished the tournament by hitting a greenside bunker shot to 6 inches on the 18th hole before tapping it in for a birdie. After she finished the shot, she looked to the sky and let out a huge sigh of relief.
Brock Lesnar’s illness will reportedly keep him out of UFC for a while,according to the star.com. They report that UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar is very ill,and is in the hospital,after he collapsed in Canada.
Dana White who is the UFC president said that Brock is really sick,and won’t be getting better anytime soon.
He stated, “He’s in rough shape, he’s in really bad shape. He is not well and he is not getting any better. He’s very, very sick and he’s going to be out for a while. He’s got a lot of problems.”
Ty Lawson did a spectacular super dunk on the Lakers in this clip (below). The Denver Nuggets played the Los Angeles Lakers last night,and dominated them in a 105-79 victory.
However, the highlight of the night,was when the 5 foot,11 inch Denver Nuggets rookie, point guard, Ty Lawson was dribbling the ball out on the perimeter,did a couple of quick crossovers to get into the lane,then all of a sudden,hopped up and threw down a monster,authority slam dunk on Los Angeles Lakers’ center D.J. Mbenga and forward Josh Powell.
New Orleans Hornets fire head coach Byron Scott,according to the LA Times. The Hornets fired him earlier today,and replaced him with the general manager, Jeff Bower.
They report that the owner George Shinn says that the move will give them the best opportunity to reach their goals this season.
The Hornets made former New Orleans head coach, Tim Floyd one of Jeff Bower’s top assistants. Byron Scott became head coach for the Hornets back in 2003.
Andre Agassi replies to Pete Sampras’ comments on his Crystal Meth use. Andre Agassi recently gave an interview to Access Hollywood to talk about the things he wrote in his new book,particularly, his alleged Crystal Meth use in 1997. He said he failed a drug test,and then lied about it.
His former tennis rival, Pete Sampras recently told a news station in Austin,Texas what he thought about the situation with Andre Agassi.
He stated, “I didn’t even know what to say. I respect him, he’s a friend of mine. He was my main rival in the ‘90s and would I tell him flat out he made a mistake, absolutely. I’d say, ‘What were you thinking?’
New Mexico soccer player, Elizabeth Lambert gets suspended for fighting. The crazy,wild, New Mexico soccer player, Elizabeth Lambert has reportedly gotten suspended for her unacceptable actions in last Thursday’s game against BYU where she beat the living crap out of a couple of BYU players.
NBC’s “Today Show” did their own exclusive coverage (below) of it this morning,showing the disturbing clips from the game where she pulled one girl’s ponytail,and yanked her to the ground.
New Mexico soccer player, Elizabeth Lambert punched,kicked & hair pulled BYU players in their game yesterday. Elizabeth Lambert who plays For New Mexico became highly searched on the net today,and with good reason. This chick is extreme.
She did a potentially, neck snapping, ponytail pull, take down on BYU’s Kassidy Shumway. After that, she tripped a BYU player at the edge of the box. This lead to one of her New Mexico teammates accidentally kicking the ball in the girls face.

They report that someone luckily had the camera rolling when the former Chicago Bulls and USC coach, Tim Floyd stepped in to stop a cat fight that broke out in the “Morongo” Casino,located in Southern California.
