Rinaldo Nocentini Currently Leads 2009 Tour de France

At Stage 7 of the Tour de France Rinaldo Nocentini was part of an early breakaway and managed to stay in front of the pack long enough to win the yellow jersey.

Stage 7 was the first stage in the mountains,and was also the longest stage of the Tour.Lance Armstrong, the seven time American champion came in third place. Alberto Contador came in 2nd place.

The Frenchman Brice Feillu was able to win Stage 7 due to the power of his last 5K breakaway from the summit. Read the rest of this entry »

A Foul Ball Hit ESPN Reporter Erin Andrews

TMZ reported yesterday that Erin Andrews who is a sideline reporter for ESPN got hit in the chin by a foul ball that was hit by Alex Cora who plays for the New York Mets in the 4th inning.

Updated news reports, say that she’s okay. ESPN stated, “She’s totally fine. The producers on site suggested she go to the hospital as a precaution. Doctors released her soon thereafter. She flew home as scheduled and is looking forward to working MLB All-Star events and the ESPYs in the coming week.”

Aspiring Actress Heather Nichols Capitalizes On UFC Incident

A site named twirlit.com has done a report on a pretty unknown actress who’s only real acting credit was a “Bikini Beach Employee” in two episodes of the soap opera “Bold and the Beautiful”.

She’s currently a reporter for a website called Cage Potato. It covers the Mixed Martial Arts scene. She has recently been capitalizing on an incident that occurred when she was interviewing one of the sport’s biggest stars Quentin “Rampage” Jackson. Read the rest of this entry »

High Schooler Dunks On Lebron James, No Tape ?

As we reported yesterday and is also being reported today on Yahoo ! Sports, Lebron James got dunked on yesterday by a high school sophomore player at Xavier named Jordan Crawford in a pick up game at a basketball camp sponsored by Nike called the LeBron James Skills Academy.

However, it’s being reported that Lebron called Nike Basketball Senior Director Lynn Merritt over and told him something. A few minutes later all the tapes of the dunk on Lebron were confiscated.

So it definitely looks like Lebron didn’t want the video getting out so he told a Nike Official to get the tapes. I’m hoping somebody got it on video and was able to sneak out with their copy. Lets cross our fingers. Read the rest of this entry »

LeBron James Reportedly Got Piped on By A High Schooler

“Piped” is an old school word we used back in the day for the “slam dunk” word which is exactly what is being reported by manolith.com. They say high schooler Jordan Crawford dunked on NBA superstar LeBron James in pick up game at a basketball training camp known as the LeBron James Skills Academy which is sponsored by Nike.

The camp gives high school basketball stars a chance to train with the best. They report that the footage of Jordan Crawford dunking on LeBron was indeed filmed,but they report that LeBron talked with Nike’s Basketball Senior Director,Lynn Merritt.

Roger Federer Makes It “15″ In An Epic Wimbledon Battle

Roger Federer made history today July 5,2009 at Wimbledon in an epic 5 set match that went to 16-14 in the fifth and final set since there’s no tie breaks in the fifth set at Wimbledon.

Andy Roddick played the best tennis I’ve ever seen him play . He really took Federer the distance,but in that fifth final set Roger served way to well,and Andy just couldn’t find a way to break him. Read the rest of this entry »
