According to the San Francisco Chronicle, a big fight broke out in the stands of the 2010 US Open tennis tournament yesterday in Flushing Meadows,New York (video below). They say that during the featured match between Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Germany’s Philipp Petzschner,a woman fan became angry over a male fan who was dropping f-bombs.

She eventually got into an argument with him. After about a minute of arguing,an older man who is the supposed father of the woman,moved her out of the way and threw a punch at the guy. Read more »

Moments ago on the Big Brother 12 live feeds, crazy Rachel and her annoying lovemate Brendon were spotted packin up all their crap in preparation for their unavoidable eviction fate on Big Brother 12. NY Yankees George Steinbrenner died from a heart attack today. According to TMZ, former New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner died earlier this morning from a massive heart attack. They say that George who recently turned 80 years-old was rushed to St. Joseph’s hospital in Tampa,Florida where he was later pronounced dead.

George was a retired U.S. Navy veteran,and retired from running the New York Yankees back in 2006. His two sons Hank and Hal took over the duties of Yankees owners from that point. Ever since George took over the team in 1973, the Yankees attained 11 pennants and 7 World Series titles. Read more »

According to the Washington Post, small forward/guard star LeBron James is now a former Cleveland Cavalier as he has chosen to go play for the Miami Heat earlier today. They say that LeBron has just ended nearly two days of speculation by choosing to sign with the Miami Heat.

LeBron made his announcement in an interview with Jim Gray at a local Boys and Girls Club in Greenwich,Connecticuit during a one hour primetime special on ESPN. Up until now, LeBron spent his entire career in Cleveland,and led the franchise to its only NBA Finals appearance back in 2007,and also won two NBA MVP awards. Rafael Nadal took home his 2nd Wimbledon title today after dominantly beating his opponent Tomas Berdych who took out defending champion Roger Federer. Rafael won 6-3,7-5,6-4 in two hours and 13 minutes. Rafael never dropped his serve in the 3 set match,and really hurt Tomas with his huge forehand shot.

They say that Roger blamed injuries for the loss,and failed to credit his opponent for beating him.

Tennis Star Jennifer Capriati rushed to hospital for drug overdose. According to TMZ, former number one ranked tennis player in the world Jennifer Capriati was recently rushed to the hospital this morning due to an alleged drug overdose. They say that the paramedics responded to a call for a possible overdose. The call came from a hotel in Riviera Beach,Florida. Jennifer was then transported to a nearby hospital.

Her father revealed that she’s recovering well from the incident. Jennifer Capriati won 14 career titles,including three Grand Slam tournaments,which include the 2001 French Open,the 2001 and 2002 Australian Open. She also won the gold metal in the 1992 Olympic Games. Read more »

Batista and Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker have reached an agreement on most of the details in their contract,but Batista’s salary is still a major issue.
