Tonight's finale show,kicked off with a look back over the entire season. Then they showed the continuation of the footage that was shown last week with the two finalists , Trace Adkins and Penn Jillette, along with their teams ,raising money with their creation of a new flavor for Walgreens Delish brand premium ice cream. They also produced a promotional video. Throughout the night, they kept switching back and forth to the live show. At the live show, Trump eventually brought back all the previously fired contestants to chit chat a bit. At one point, they showed Trace's ice cream video that mostly featured Gary Busey doing a hilarious twist dance. Later on, they showed boardroom footage of what went down after the two teams completed their tasks. It was revealed that both Trace and Penn brought in around a whopping $500,000 plus dollars during their tasks. Then Trump got donation-happy,offering to donate $20,000 to most of the celebrities' charities. From there, they went back to the live show to bring on the finalists ,Trace and Penn, to do one last showdown debate. Trump also revealed that Penn's chocolate swirl ice cream ended up being the best seller over Trace's macadamia nut icecream,so that gave Penn an additional $100,000 towards his charity. They also took a look-back at Omarosa's time on the show this season,which eventually prompted a big verbal fight between Omarosa and Latoya Jackson right on stage. It was great. Trace also hit the stage to sing a boring country song to waste even more time. Trump also gave Lil Jon's charity a special $100,000 dollars,since he got so much backlash for firing Lil Jon. Recently, TV Guide just drained a ton of new Arrow season 2 spoilers from show runner ,Marc Guggenheim,and it turns out that we're going to see more heroic activity from Thea and Roy, Tommy's death will cause a major effect on some of the characters, more Island drama gets revealed,and more. To start off the huge spoiler session, we learned that Laurel is going to be feeling the guilt over Tommy's death. Marc explained, "she's going to feel some fairly overwhelming guilt because people, particularly like Ross and Rachel, can argue whether or not Laurel and Tommy were on a break when Laurel slept with Oliver in the penultimate episode. The thing that's pretty much indisputable is the fact that Laurel, by sleeping with Oliver, chose Oliver over Tommy and yet it was Tommy who came to save her. She feels an enormous amount of guilt over, "Did I pick the wrong guy?" These will all be things we're exploring in Season 2. The reason we did it wasn't just to end the season on an impactful note. It really was to create all sorts of different stories and dramatic conflicts in Season 2." From there, Marc went on to reveal that Tommy's death will have quite a profound effect on Laurel,Oliver,and Thea, stating, "It's a catalyst for her to do a variety of different things. It's going to drive a lot of what Laurel does in Season 2, both good and bad. Tommy's death will reverberate through the cast of characters and will affect the changes and choices that Oliver makes and that Thea makes. It's going to affect everybody. It's not like you'll never hear Tommy's name never uttered again. If anything, Tommy is a larger presence in death than he was in life." Next, Marc revealed that they will be answering the question of if Malcolm Merlyn is actually dead, stating, "We have a moment in mind for the Season 2 premiere that should give you an answer to that question, but the thing that I always do say, and I said this to John Barrowman and to Colin Donnell. This is a show that does flashbacks. So just because a character is dead doesn't mean we've necessarily seen the last of them on this show." Also, we learned that Oliver is going to be done with the whole vigilante thing as Mark explained, "without spoiling our plans for Season 2, so the best way to answer it, and this will be one of those things where you'll go back to this interview after you watch the season premiere to see what I mean is that I think he's pretty much done being the vigilante. The question is: What happens now? Come October, that statement will make a lot of sense." Season 2 will also feature a time jump and The Glades destruction plot will be a big part of the new season. Marc explained, "There will be a time jump, not really to skip over anything, but rather it's just consistent with the choice we made early on with the show. We always try to pass time naturally.
