Judd Apatow Productions To Bring ‘Ghostbusters 3’ Into Reality

ghostbusters 3 image

Well, it looks like it’s almost official that there is going to be a Ghostbusters 3 movie, and for months Jud Apatow, who recently produced Adam Sandler’s new movie coming out in the summer entitled, “Funny People” had been rumored to be the producer of the resurrection of the 1980’s Ghostbusters’ Franchise. Now, it looks like it is really close to being a reality since Production weekly has started to mention it by stating that Apatow productions would be in charge.

There are no known names or actors for the new Ghostbusters’ film as of yet, but I can say that I would love to see this get done especially with all the new technological advances in film making since the 80’s when the first two Ghostbusters’ films were produced. I think it would be really interesting to see what they can do with it. If the film does get green lighted which I think it will, they will start shooting it in the fall of 2009. We’ll definitely keep you posted.

Tom Cruise as Les Grossman Funny ‘Tropic Thunder’ Dance Clip

Here is OnTheFlix’s best movie clip of 2008 . It just had to be Tom Cruise’s character , Les Grossman dancing to Ludacris’ “Get Back” song in “Tropic Thunder”. In the film Tom played crooked movie producer, Les Grossman who would always flip on the music and start dancing which made for what I think some of the most funniest scenes in film history especially since I never saw Tom play a part like this. In fact I wasn’t even aware it was him until about midway through. I knew something was familiar with the voice, but I just couldn’t place it until about midway through. Then, I had a “Eureka” moment, and said “That is Tom Cruise”. “Oh my gosh, wow”. Well, anyways, it totally made me see him in a different light for taking on a role such as this which is totally different from what he’s ever done. Enjoy the clip. It’s funny as hell.

Movie : Tropic Thunder

Cast : Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Nick Nolte, Brandon Jackson, Steve Coogan, Danny R. McBride, Bill Hader, Jay Baruchel, Matt Levin, Andrea De Oliveira, Reggie Lee, Matthew McConaughey, Tom Cruise
