New Resident Evil 4 movie delivered lots of action & suspense. Screen Gems released their new action/thriller flick “Resident Evil 4: Afterlife” into theaters this weekend. I just got done checking it out,and I have to disagree with most of the top critic’s bad reviews of this movie. It was very entertaining and suspenseful just like the first three. It stars: Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Kim Coates, Shawn Roberts, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Spencer Locke, Boris Kodjoe, Wentworth Miller, and Sienna Guillory.

“Resident Evil 4: Afterlife” revolved around character Alice (Milla Jovovich) who eventually returns to Los Angeles,California after learning that no one is in the town of Arcadia where there are supposed to be survivors. However, she does find her long lost buddy Claire (Ali Larter) before heading out of Arcadia. Read more »

Top Critics Gave New Resident Evil 4 Movie Negative Reviews So Far

Top critics gave new Resident Evil 4 movie negative reviews so far. Screen Gems released their new action/thriller flick “Resident Evil 4: Afterlife” into theaters today, and the top movie critics don’t seem to be all that impressed with it so far. It appears that most of them were shut out from early screenings as only three critics have chimed in with their reviews at the moment.

It’s garnered only two C- ratings and a big fat D rating so far. Maybe that will turn around once the other critics chime in. Right now, it’s not lookin too good. The movie stars: Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Kim Coates, Shawn Roberts, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Spencer Locke, Boris Kodjoe, Wentworth Miller, and Sienna Guillory.

Kim Newman from Empire gave it a C-. She stated, “What fun there is to be had is undermined by drab 3D, hacked-out dialogue and rehashed plots. This is real D, not a dodgy conversion job, but Anderson makes elementary mistakes with the process which suggest he got hold of James Cameron’s cameras but started shooting before he read the manuals properly.” Read more »

New Machete movie delivered graphic action, nude Lindsay Lohan & more. 20th Century Fox released their new graphic action flick “Machete” into theaters this weekend. I just got done checking it out,and it was better than I thought it would be. It delivered disgusting graphic action, hot chicks, and some nudity. What more could a film deliver? I have to admit I was shocked to see Lindsay Lohan do nude scenes, but at the same time, I wasn’t. She’s not a kid anymore, and this one was far from being “Herby the Love Bug.” The movie stars: Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Michelle Rodriguez, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Jeff Fahey, Don Johnson, and Steven Seagal.

“Machete” revolved around character Machete (Danny Trejo) who is a former renegade Mexican Federale who can basically just kick everybody’s ass. He gets setup by drug criminal Torrez (Steven Seagal),and Torrez murders his wife. Then thinks he murders Machete, but he thinks wrong. Eventually, Machete ends up in America and gets caught up in a situation that foils Torrez’s plans to gain control of the Mexican border for his drug operation. Read more »

George Clooney ‘American’ movie delivered a unique story & drama. Focus Features released their new action/drama,George Clooney branded flick “The American” into theaters this past Wednesday. I just got done watching it,and I think it brought a lot more drama than action to the table. Although,it did feature some action scenes, they didn’t make up the brunt of this movie. “The American” revolved around character Jack/Edward (George Clooney) who is a hired assassin that retreats to Italy after a job in Sweden ends pretty ugly.
