Top movie critics gave new ‘Karate Kid’ movie pretty positive reviews. Columbia Pictures released their new “Karate Kid” remake movie into theaters today,and most of the top movie critics in the business seemed to enjoy it,giving it mostly positive reviews with mostly Bs across the board,and only two Cs. The movie stars: Jackie Chan, Jaden Smith, and Taraji P. Henson.

Ty Burr at the Boston Globe gave it a B rating. He said, “Director Harald Zwart has The Pink Panther 2’ to his credit, for which he will never, nor should ever, be forgiven, but he keeps this one moving smoothly, and he uses the Chinese locations well.”

Roger Ebert at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a very good A-. He stated, it was “a lovely and well-made film that stands on its own feet.” Read more »

Top Critics gave ‘The A-Team’ movie average rating reviews. 20th Century Fox released their new action/adventure flick “The A-Team” into theaters today,and the top movie critics in the business didn’t seem to be to impressed with it. Some of them thought it was just good with a couple of Bs,but the others gave it Cs and Ds for pretty average rating reviews overall. It stars: Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Sharlto Copley, Jessica Biel, Patrick Wilson, and Gerald McRane.

Wesley Morris at the Boston Globe gave it a C-. He said, the “A team not worth reassembling.” Roger Ebert over at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it another C- rating. He stated, it was “an incomprehensible mess.”

Michael Phillips at the Chicago Tribune gave it a B- rating. He said,it was “frequently entertaining.” Bill Gibron at Filmcritic.com gave it a pretty good B+ rating. He said, it “develops a ditzy rhythm all its own.” Read more »

‘Splice’ movie delivered really weird creatures & interesting story. Warner Bros. Pictures released their new weird thriller flick “Splice” in theaters this weekend,and I must say that it was a very interesting story,but the creatures were really weird. They also had an interesting twist that made them become dangerous. The movie stars: Adrien Brody, Sarah Polley,and Delphine Chaneac.

“Splice” revolves around characters Clive Nicoli (Adrien Brody) and Elsa Kast (Sarah Polley). They are genetic engineers who have been working on experiments that involved creating new animal species to obtain special protein compounds from them. But now, they want to try experimenting with human DNA because they believe it can help cure many diseases. They get turned down to do the project,but they secretly go ahead and do it anyways. Ashton Kutcher’s ‘Killers’ movie delivered really good laughs & action. Lionsgate released their new Ashton Kutcher action/comedy flick “Killers” into theaters this weekend. It was surprisingly very funny,and delivered a lot of good action scenes. I totally disagree with the top critics assessment on this flick. Most of them seemed to think it was bad,but It was really very good. Ashton did a real good job,along with his co-star Katherine Heigl. It stars: Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl, Tom Selleck, Catherine O’Hara, Katheryn Winnick, Kevin Sussman, Lisa Ann Walter, Casey Wilson, Rob Riggle, Martin Mull, and Alex Borstein.

“Killers” revolved around characters Jen Kornfeldt (Katherine Heigl) and Spencer Aimes (Ashton Kutcher). Spencer is a secret spy who kills people for a living,but decides to get out of the business when he meets Jen. They eventually get married,and the movie fast-forwards three years later. Read more »

‘Get Him To The Greek’ movie delivered lots of hysterical laughs. Universal Pictures released their new comedy movie “Get Him To The Greek” this weekend. I just got done checkin it out,and it was extremely funny. Jonah Hill, P Ditty,and Russell Brand all did a great job delivering the laughs in this flick. It stars: Jonah Hill, Russell Brand, Rose Byrne, Sean Combs,and Elisabeth Moss.

“Get Him To The Greek” revolved around characters Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) and Aldous Snow (Russell Brand). Aaron works for a record company that needs another huge act that can generate revenue, or Aaron and the rest of the crew just might loose their jobs. Aaron comes up with the idea of having rock legend Aldous Snow perform at L.A.’s Greek Theatre for a 10 year reunion. Aaron’s boss Sergio Roma (P Ditty) loves it,and decides to send Aaron to London to get Aldous,and fly him to L.A. to perform the show. Read more »

They gave Cs,Ds,and one big fat F. It stars: Owen Wilson, Lee Pace, Judy Greer, William H. Macy, Steve Coogan, Sam Elliott, Fergie, George Lopez, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Emma Stone, Kiefer Sutherland, and Marlon Wayans.

Roger Ebert over at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a a C. He said, “If you like the comic strip, now in its 56th year, maybe you’ll like it, maybe not. Marmaduke’s personality isn’t nearly as engaging as Garfield’s. Wesley Morris at the Boston Globe gave it a B rating. He said, “The movie begins to run out of gas as it racks up a body count, but even the mad-scientist and I-created-a-monster clichés are contorted satisfyingly enough.”

Golden Girls’ Rue McClanahan died today from a massive stroke. According to TMZ , 76 year old Rue McClanahan who played character Blanch Devereaux on the popular 80’s sitcom “Golden Girls,” died early this morning after suffering a massive stoke this past Monday. They say that Rue died at 1 am this morning at a hospital in New York.

Rue’s son,sister,and nephew were with her at the time of her passing. According to the New York Daily news,Rue’s famous “Golden Girls” co-star Betty White was very hurt to hear about the death of her friend. She stated, “Rue was a close and dear friend. I treasured our relationship. It hurts more than I ever thought it would, if that’s even possible.” Read more »

Walt Disney Pictures released their new flick “Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time” into theaters today,and it really delivered in the action and suspense department. Jake Gyllenhaal did a great job as character Dastan, the Prince of Persia. The movie stars: Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina,and Toby Kebbell.

“Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time” revolved around character Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) who became one of the princes of Persia after the king found him in the slums,and decided to raise him as his own. From Dastan’s childhood, it flash-forwards to the future when he’s all grown up. After being a loyal prince for many years, a conspiracy against him involving the death of the king and his evil,deceptive uncle Nizam (Ben Kingsley), caused him to eventually team up with princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton),or be killed by the Persians.
