80’s star, Corey Haim found dead due to drug overdose, Today. According to TMZ , 80’s acting star, Corey Haim was found dead earlier today due to an apparent drug overdose. They say that he was found earlier today of an apparent drug overdose,possibly accidental. He was 38 years old. “Alice In Wonderland” movie delivered fantasy,adventure & a corny dance. Walt Disney Pictures released its new and latest installment of “Alice In Wonderland” this weekend, starring, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover, Matt Lucas, Mia Wasikowska, Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen, Timothy Spall, Christopher Lee, Paul Whitehouse, and Barbara Windsor. I thought that the movie was interesting. There was one part towards the end that bored me to sleep,but it quickly got my attention again with the exciting battle scene near the end. And then the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) did a very corny dance that they really should’ve left out.

“Alice In Wonderland” revolved around a 19 year old version of Alice (Mia Wasikowska). Her family is interested in marrying her off to someone she doesn’t love,but Alice is more interested in following a cute,white bunny rabbit back to the magical Wonderland she first visited as a younger child. Overture films released its new crime/drama movie today entitled, “Brooklyn’s Finest.” It stars: Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke, Don Cheadle, Jesse Williams, Ellen Barkin, Wesley Snipes, Lili Taylor, Brian F. O’Byrne, Shannon Kane, Will Patton,and Vincent D’Onofrio. The top movie critics gave it pretty mediocre reviews. One of them gave it a whopping F,but besides that,it got mostly Cs and a couple of Bs.

Ty Burr from the Boston Globe gave it a C. He stated, it “feels written rather than observed.” Roger Ebert from the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a B rating. He said, “The film and the actors do a good job of establishing these characters in their own lives.” Read more »

However, some didn’t like it as much,giving it a few Cs,but overall, it got pretty good reviews. ‘Cop Out’ movie delivered great action & good comedy with Tracy Morgan. Warner Bros. Pictures new action/comedy movie, “Cop Out” hit theaters this weekend. I just got done watching it,and despite what the critics said, It was entertaining. Tracy Morgan was funny in it,but I must agree with a little bit of what the critics said because some of Tracy’s punch lines didn’t punch all that great. Overall,it was good,though. The movie stars: Bruce Willis, Tracy Morgan, Adam Brody, Kevin Pollak, Guillermo Diaz, Seann William Scott, Jason Lee, and Ana de la Reguera.

‘The Crazies’ movie delivered intense action,& crazy horror. Overture Films released their new crazy horror flick this weekend entitled, “The Crazies,” and it did not disappoint. It was really crazy,and delivered lots of terrifying horror and action fighting scenes. The movie stars: Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Danielle Panabaker, and Joe Anderson.

“The Crazies” film revolved around character, David Dutton (Timothy Olyphant) who’s the sheriff of a seemingly safe little town called Ogden Marsh. However, things start to go wrong with a few people in the town. They start giving weird stares, and talking funny. Then the next thing you know, they’re burning the house down with their relatives locked in the closet,stabbing people with pitch forks,and a couple of animal hunters started hunting humans instead and piled them into the back of their pick-up truck. Top Critics give ‘Cop Out’ movie less than great reviews. Warner Bros. Pictures has released it’s new comedy flick today entitled, “Cop Out,” with huge stars, Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan. Although Tracy is very funny, the top movie critics weren’t all that impressed,claiming that it was a hit-and-miss, standard buddy cop movie that really wasn’t that funny. It got mostly Cs and Ds,but two critics liked it,and gave it a B. The movie also stars: Adam Brody, Kevin Pollak, Guillermo Diaz, Seann William Scott, Jason Lee, and Ana de la Reguera.

Overture Films just released their new horror flick today called, “The Crazies,” and it got pretty damn good reviews from the top movie critics. They gave it mostly Bs across the board,and only a few Cs. The movie stars: Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Danielle Panabaker, and Joe Anderson.

Ty Burr from the Boston Globe gave it a B. He said, it was “extremely solid stuff.” Roger Ebert over at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a B-. He stated, that it was “a perfectly competent genre film in a genre that has exhausted its interest for me, the Zombie Film.”

‘Shutter Island’ movie delivered an interesting story with a great twist. Paramount Pictures released it’s brand, new, psychological thriller this weekend entitled, “Shutter Island.” I just saw it,and thought that it was a very interesting movie,and it also had a really good twist. It did not disappoint at all. The movie stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Patricia Clarkson, and Max von Sydow.

“Shutter Island” revolved around two U.S. appointed marshals, Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo). They go to “Shutter Island” to investigate,and try to find a missing mental patient who has escaped the facility. However, Teddy starts to progressively get more pissed off with Dr. Cawley and the staff who work there because he doesn’t think he’s getting a truthful answer from any of them. Read more »
