‘Get Him To The Greek’ movie delivered lots of hysterical laughs. Universal Pictures released their new comedy movie “Get Him To The Greek” this weekend. I just got done checkin it out,and it was extremely funny. Jonah Hill, P Ditty,and Russell Brand all did a great job delivering the laughs in this flick. It stars: Jonah Hill, Russell Brand, Rose Byrne, Sean Combs,and Elisabeth Moss.

“Get Him To The Greek” revolved around characters Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) and Aldous Snow (Russell Brand). Aaron works for a record company that needs another huge act that can generate revenue, or Aaron and the rest of the crew just might loose their jobs. Aaron comes up with the idea of having rock legend Aldous Snow perform at L.A.’s Greek Theatre for a 10 year reunion. Aaron’s boss Sergio Roma (P Ditty) loves it,and decides to send Aaron to London to get Aldous,and fly him to L.A. to perform the show. Read more »

They gave Cs,Ds,and one big fat F. It stars: Owen Wilson, Lee Pace, Judy Greer, William H. Macy, Steve Coogan, Sam Elliott, Fergie, George Lopez, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Emma Stone, Kiefer Sutherland, and Marlon Wayans.

Roger Ebert over at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a a C. He said, “If you like the comic strip, now in its 56th year, maybe you’ll like it, maybe not. Marmaduke’s personality isn’t nearly as engaging as Garfield’s. Wesley Morris at the Boston Globe gave it a B rating. He said, “The movie begins to run out of gas as it racks up a body count, but even the mad-scientist and I-created-a-monster clichés are contorted satisfyingly enough.”

Golden Girls’ Rue McClanahan died today from a massive stroke. According to TMZ , 76 year old Rue McClanahan who played character Blanch Devereaux on the popular 80’s sitcom “Golden Girls,” died early this morning after suffering a massive stoke this past Monday. They say that Rue died at 1 am this morning at a hospital in New York.

Rue’s son,sister,and nephew were with her at the time of her passing. According to the New York Daily news,Rue’s famous “Golden Girls” co-star Betty White was very hurt to hear about the death of her friend. She stated, “Rue was a close and dear friend. I treasured our relationship. It hurts more than I ever thought it would, if that’s even possible.” Read more »

Walt Disney Pictures released their new flick “Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time” into theaters today,and it really delivered in the action and suspense department. Jake Gyllenhaal did a great job as character Dastan, the Prince of Persia. The movie stars: Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina,and Toby Kebbell.

“Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time” revolved around character Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) who became one of the princes of Persia after the king found him in the slums,and decided to raise him as his own. From Dastan’s childhood, it flash-forwards to the future when he’s all grown up. After being a loyal prince for many years, a conspiracy against him involving the death of the king and his evil,deceptive uncle Nizam (Ben Kingsley), caused him to eventually team up with princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton),or be killed by the Persians. Gary Coleman officially died earlier today from head injuries. According to TMZ , former “Different Strokes” child star Gary Coleman died earlier today as a result of his head injuries that he suffered earlier in the week . This is very sad,and he will be missed. They say that Gary’s wife, Shannon decided to pull the plug on Gary’s life support that he was on, earlier this morning.

Gary Coleman died at 12:05 pm Mountain Standard Time. He died of a intracranial hemorrhage. Gary’s family members and close friends were at his side when the hospital pulled the plug on his life support. He was only 42 years old.
