20th Century FOX released their new drama/thriller movie, “Gone Girl” into theaters today, and all the reviews are in from the major,top movie critics, and it turns out to have resonated quite well with most of them, getting an overall 79 score out of a possible 100 across 45 reviews at the Metacritic.com site.

Columbia Pictures (Sony) released their new action flick, “The Equalizer” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out and thought it was way better than I originally thought it would be. It featured great action scenes, cool plotline, and lots of suspense. It stars: Denzel Washington, Marton Csokas, Chloë Grace Moretz, David Harbour, Bill Pullman, and Melissa Leo.
In the new flick, character Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) is a middle aged, retired intelligent officer who believes he’s put his Special Forces past behind him and dedicated himself to beginning a new, quiet life. However, he ends up meeting a hooker named Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), who is just a young girl that’s been under the control of a violent Russian gangster. According to a new report from Comicbookmovie.com, some new spoiler and filming details for the upcoming “Star Trek 3” action flick has been revealed by director, Robert Orci, via the Trek Movie website. They report that the first draft of the script has been completed and pre-production has already started with, “‘pre-vis,’ early effects tests, set and wardrobe design and even some casting discussions for new characters.”
The movie will likely start up production in mid-February 2015 as Paramount Pictures is eyeing a Summer 2016 release date. The exact release date is expected to get officially announced pretty soon. I just checked it out, and thought it was highly entertaining and suspenseful as hell. I really dug the plotline too as it was very intriguing. The movie stars: Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Aml Ameen, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Will Poulter.
In the new flick, character Thomas, shows up in a rusty elevator called The Box, and is greeted by other boys in a grassy clearing called the Glade, which is surrounded by tall, gray walls that enclose off the entrance to the maze. Thomas is unable to remember anything about himself, but Alby, the leader of the Glade, tells him that it’s happened to everyone and that his name will come to him soon. Thomas is very curious about the maze, but is warned not to enter as no one has ever survived the maze throughout the night.

According to a new report from Comicbookmovie.com, some new, possible groundbreaking, filming details have been revealed for the upcoming “Avatar” 2,3 & 4 films that are currently planned for some point in the future. It turns out that visual effects legend, Douglas Trumbull, told The Hollywood Reporter that he’s currently met up with Avatar producer, John Landau, to discuss shooting Avatar in 120 frames-per-second, which is well above the standard 24 frames-per-second.
It turns out that since movies are shot digitally these days, it is very possible to shoot them at 120 frames-per-second. Douglas said: “I know that Cameron admired Showscan Trumbull’s earlier invention of a large-format high-frame rate projection system and that he is a huge advocate of high frame rates HFRs. Screen Gems (Sony) released their new thriller flick, “No Good Deed” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was terrific, serving up major suspense, thrills, drama and more. It was way better than I thought it would be. It stars: Idris Elba, Taraji P. Henson, Leslie Bibb, Kate del Castillo, and Henry Simmons.
In the new flick, psycho character, Collin (Idris Elba), gets out of prison and kills his hot girlfriend (Kate del Castillo) for cheating on him while he was locked up. From there, Collin eventually makes his way to a stranger’s house, posing as a guy who just got in an accident and just needs to use the phone to call a tow truck.
The stranger’s house just happens to belong to a woman named Terri (Taraji P. Henson), and we soon learn that Terri’s husband is the guy that Collin’s girlfriend cheated with. Ahh, it’s starting to become clear. Anyways, the movie turns out to be a huge plot cooked up by Collin to get revenge on the guy who was banging his girlfriend while he was in prison. Read more »

According to a new report from TMZ, former X-Factor contestant and future G.R.L. (Reboot of the Pussycat Dolls) star, Simone Battle (left), unfortunately past away this past Friday morning, September 5th, from what is now speculated to be a possible hanging suicide!
They claim, Simone was found dead in her Los Angeles,CA home. She was just 25 years old. Simone had previously made it to the Top 17 on X-Factor, and had just signed a deal to be apart of the new G.R.L. group that is being managed by Robin Antin and company. The L.A. County Cororner’s Office told them, Simone’s autopsy has not been completed yet, so nothing has been ruled out as cause of death. Read more »
