Top critics gave new Machete movie positive reviews. 20th Century Fox released their new,intense action flick “Machete’ into theaters today,and overall, the top movie critics seemed to be pretty pleased with it,giving it mostly B ratings across the board. The movie stars: Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Michelle Rodriguez, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Jeff Fahey, Don Johnson, and Steven Seagal.

The Last Exorcism movie delivered creepy,thrilling suspense. Lionsgate released their new horror,thriller flick “The Last Exorcism” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was excellent. The top movie critics were sort of mixed on this one,but I thought it was pretty good. It featured a lot of weird,suspenseful,creepy scenes that left me on the edge of my seat. It stars: Patrick Fabian, Ashley Bell,Louis Herthum,and Tony Bentley.
“The Last Exorcism” revolved around Patrick Fabian’s character Cotton Marcus who is a supposed Reverend that performs fake exorcisms for money. On this last trip,he decides to tape his whole experience,and reveal what he actually does to fool these people. However,this new experience is one he’ll never forget. New Takers movie delivered lots of action,shooting & scheming. Screen Gems released their new action flick “Takers” into theaters this weekend. I just got done checking it out. It got mixed reviews from the top critics,but I give it a positive review. I thought it was great and entertaining as it delivered some good shootout action,along with very advanced scheming and plotting. It stars: Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Jay Hernandez, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Michael Ealy, Chris Brown, and Hayden Christensen.
“Takers” movie revolved around a group of guys who rob banks for living. They’re led by Idris Alba’s character Gordon Jennings. Most of their robberies run pretty smoothly as they are masked and have a perfectly,well thought out execution,and escape route. However, after their last robbery success, their old running mate Ghost (T.I.) gets out of prison after serving five years for getting caught in one of their robberies gone bad. Read more »

They gave it Bs,Cs,and D ratings,but it seemed pretty even,indicating that it came down to personal taste. Vampires Suck movie delivered funny Twilight Saga spoofs & more. 20th Century Fox released their new spoof/comedy flick “Vampires Suck” into theaters this weekend. I just got back from seeing it,and I thought it was pretty funny. Some of the jokes were lame,so I can see how the top critics gave it some pretty negative reviews. However it wasn’t entirely bad as it did deliver some pretty funny spoofs for the “Twilight Saga” movies. It stars: Matt Lanter, Emily Brobst, Jenn Proske, Chris Riggi, Krystal Mayo, Crista Flanagan, Ken Jeong, Arielle Kebbel,and Devon Kelly.
“Vampires Suck” movie revolved around character Becca (Jenn Proske), which was a spoof on the Twilight Saga Bella character. She eventually meets Jacob,then Edward,but his name is Edward Sullen instead of Cullen. Pictures released their new urban comedy flick “Lottery Ticket” into theaters this weekend,and it was chalked full of laughs and high intensity drama,especially near the end with rapper Bow Wow and a host of other stars. It stars: Bow Wow, Ice Cube, Brandon T. Jackson, Naturi Naughton, Keith David, Charles Q. Murphy, Loretta Devine, Terry Crews, and Bill Bellamy.
“Lottery Ticket” revolved around character Kevin Carson (Bow Wow) who lives in the hood and works at Foot Locker. He hangs out with his best friend Benny (Brandon T. Jackson) a lot and gets into trouble with a local thug Lorenzo (Gbenga Akinnagbe). However, his life takes a drastic change when he eventually wins the lottery after getting the lucky numbers from a fortune cookie. Read more »
Piranha 3D movie delivered a suspenseful blood bath thriller . Dimension Films released their new thriller,horror flick “Piranha 3D” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and I thought it was pretty damn good from a viewers perspective. It had lots of suspense and chilling attack scenes. It was basically a complete blood bath. It stars: Jessica Szohr, Steven R. McQueen, Elisabeth Shue, Jerry O’Connell, Ving Rhames, Richard Dreyfuss, and Christopher Lloyd.
“Piranha 3D” revolved around character Jake Forester (Steven R. McQueen) and a whole bunch of other people as they basically just tried to stay alive in the dangerous piranha infested waters. The usual empty Lake Victoria became very populated as it was Spring Break time. Unfortunately, shortly before that, a small earthquake triggered an underwater cave to open up freeing those man-eating piranha fish,and surely enough the attacks began. Read more »

Universal Pictures released their new comedy/family flick ” Nanny McPhee Returns” into theaters today,and the top critics gave it some pretty mixed reviews. I guess it just came down to a matter of taste with this movie. The highest rating it got was a B+ and the lowest was a D-. The movie stars: Emma Thompson, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Rhys Ifans, Maggie Smith, Asa Butterfield, and Ralph Fiennes.
