MTV caught up to rap star Soulja Boy and the one behind the hit song, “Kiss Me Through The Phone”, at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. They asked him to give his take on the Stephanie Meyers novel, inspired, movie “Twilight” just like everyone else there.
He said that “Twilight” is his movie agent’s movie and that he’s nominated for that so he has to vote with “Twilight”. But he said, he personally preferred “Slumdog Millionaire” over “Twilight” because it is more of his type of movie. Then, he was asked if it was more for girls. He, then responded saying that he thought it had a whole lot of love in it .

MTV caught up to rap star Lil Wayne at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards to get his take on the Eminem and Sacha Baron Cohen aka “Bruno” “butt in the face” incident. When asked by MTV what he thought, he said that it was typical of Sacha. And that he was prepared to expect the unexpected.
Then they take another look at the clip with Sacha (Bruno) falling right smack in Eminem’s face, butt and all. It was totally crazy, lol!! Lil Wayne goes onto say, “I didn’t understand it,but it was cool.” It didn’t look like Eminem thought it was cool, though.

Last night at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, “Twilight” and “New Moon” star Robert Pattinson won a couple of awards, but one of them made him feel really tough he says as an MTV reporter catches up to him backstage to get an aftermath scoop.
MTV asked him how he felt when receiving his award for “Best Fight”. Robert stated that it made him feel really tough and really hard, and that he doesn’t think he’s ever actually won a fight in his life.
When “Twilight” and “New Moon” star Kristen Stewart came up to accept her 2009 MTV Movie Award for “Best Female Performance” last night, she definitely made it truly unforgettable. I know I’ll never forget it. I’ve never seen any moment like it.
Sacha Baron Cohen came to the 2009 MTV Movie Awards in full “Bruno” character I’m guessing in an effort to heavily promote his new movie. When he was called to the stage to present the “Best Male Performance” award, he made a very unconventional entrance by flying in from way up high attached to wires from the ceiling of the huge auditorium.

An MTV reporter caught up to Jonah Hill at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards after seeing him chatting it up with rapstar Eminem. MTV asked him just what the hell was going on between them two. Jonah stated that Eminem said his favorite movie ever of all time is “Superbad”,and if there was an award for best movie ever, “Superbad” should get it. I guess Eminem isn’t a “Twilight” fan,lol !!!
Jonah also states that he quoted all his favorite scenes of the movie to him. Then he talks about how he has recently worked with Eminem on the set of Adam Sandler’s new flick, “Funny People”.

MTV caught up to “New Moon” and “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner who plays the new buff Jacob Black in the “New Moon” installment, at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. He talks about being able to improv some of the action scenes his role called for.
MTV asked him what his favorite scene of “New Moon” is so far. He said they were always doing a lot of improv on the set,and he was always finding cool ways to put in more action for Jacob’s role.

At the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, Miley Cyrus was the only one that was able to defeat the Twilighters when she went head to head with them for the “Best Song in a Movie” category with “The Climb” from her “Hannah Montana : The Movie” film. An MTV reporter caught up to her after she came off stage ,and asked her to tell about her experience in winning the award.
She said it was so much fun,and was very happy to win the award. She said it was all about the fans, and that it was really awesome. She went on to say that the fans always come through for her,and that’s one thing she’s learned throughout all of her experiences which is really amazing.
Another big movie trailer on tap that premiered at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards was the new “G.I. Joe : The Rise of Cobra” one minute and 45 second movie clip entitled, “Paris Attack”. This clip was awesome, and displayed more exciting footage from the movie. It starts off with the Baroness (Sienna Miller) walking into a building with Storm Shadow ( Byung-hun Lee). Then, the action kicks into high gear when Storm Shadow throws blades at the security officers and the Baroness starts firing her machine gun.
Well, it has been a “Twilight” Saga day and the night was no different at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards as the cast of “Twilight” won five of the six categories it was nominated for which included: Kristen Stewart for “Best Female Performance”, Robert Pattinson for “Best Break Through Performance Male”, Robert Pattinson & Cam Gigandet for “Best Fight”,Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson for “Best Kiss”,and last but not least, “Twilight” won “Best Movie”.
