New ’21 Jump Street’ movie delivered awesome laughs,action,Johnny Depp & more. Columbia Pictures (Sony) released their new comedy/action,remake flick “21 Jump Street” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and it did not disappoint. Actor Jonah Hill wrote it,and made sure it delivered tons of crazy laughs. He’s a funny mofo. We also got to see some cameo appearances from original 21 Jump Street alums Johnny Depp and Holly Robinson-Peete.

The movie stars: Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube, Brie Larson, Rob Riggle, Dave Franco, DeRay Davis, Jake Johnson, Johnny Simmons, Johnny Pemberton, Dakota Johnson, Ellie Kemper,and Johnny Depp.

In the flick,officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) get assigned to work a high school,undercover, drug case,so they had to go back to high school. Their assignment was to infiltrate the dealers and find the supplier.

New ’21 Jump Street’ remake movie trailer released online. Columbia Pictures recently released their new ’21 Jump Street” remake movie trailer (below),and it’s funny as hell as Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum go undercover at a high school to solve a case. Man, they are bumbling idiots in this.

At the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, MTV news spoke with “Superbad” star Jonah Hill about his upcoming “21 Jump Street” remake. He acknowledged the fact that a lot of people on the internet didn’t like the idea,but he wanted to explain more indept as to what the concept of the movie would be about.

He explains that he wants to make “21 Jump Street” a comedy that’s also an action movie. And that the plot would be that these undercover cops go back to highschool and, when they would get to caught up in the highschool aspect of the job as opposed to the police work, then the police work would come in and interrupt the fun. The extremely funny star of the 2007 hit comedy, “Superbad” movie, Jonah Hill has been given the control by Sony Pictures to remake the classic “21 Jump Street” film. It was originally a tv show back in the 80′s that starred actors, Johnny Depp and Holly Robinson. Jonah is going to be writing and producing the “21 Jump Street” remake. He said that his version is going to take a more comedic tone, but it won’t be strictly comedic. They’re also doing a full on action movie with a lot of blowin sh** up.

My sources say that he was approached by Sony Pictures because they wanted a funny take on “21 Jump Street” so Jonah has decided to make an R-rated,insane ,Bad Boys meets John Hughes type of movie.However, he states that if Sony reniggs on their promise to give him full control of the project, he’ll back out of it ,and not be involved.

I personally just wish he was in the film. Anything he’s in makes me laugh my a** off.
