Adam Lambert new album cover gets released. It got released yesterday,Zap2it reports.Adam Lambert was the runner up in season 8 of the extremely popular reality talent show, “American Idol.” His new album is entitled, “For Your Entertainment,” and is scheduled to release on November 23 of this year.
He started immediately writing and recording songs with top pop hit makers like: RedOne, Ryan Tedder, Sam Sparro, Greg Wells, Max Martin, Linda Perry, Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald, Kara DioGuardi and P!nk, after his “American Idol” run ended.
He also said that he collaborated with pop star, Lady Gaga a while back,and he just announced today,on “Twitter,” that his first single is going to be “Entertainment” which was produced by Dr. Luke. He also confirmed another song named “Soaked,” which was written by Muse.
According to MTV news,it looks like the recent new, music, sensation and Billboard Hot 100 chart topper,Lady Gaga has collaborated with the adult contemporary music star, Michael Bolton.
He has apparently been working with Lady Gaga on his upcoming album entitled, “One World One Love.” MTV reports that their collaboration actually took place shortly before she became the mega star she is today,and it was her idea.
Michael Bolton stated, “I was taking a break from production when my manager and the label tag-teamed me on the phone about writing with a young artist named Lady Gaga
Tanya Tucker who is a past winner of the Grammys, the Country Music Association,CMT and Academy of Country Music Awards, has been reported to be promoting her new album entitled “My Turn”. She started Thursday July 9,2009 in New York City.
Her appearances are reported to include NBC’s Better TV,Fox News,and the Fox Business Channel. She is also scheduled to make a guest appearance on the Game Show Network and Associated Press Television.
The Jonas Brothers’ latest album, “Lines,Vines and Trying Times” is set to debut at # 1 on the Billboard charts on the week of June 29,2009. This will be their second album to debut at the # 1 slot in less than a year, reports MTV. Nielson SoundScan reports that their latest album has sold more than 247,000 copies in it’s first week to take over the Billboard # 1 slot for a 2nd time. Their last album entitled, “A Little Bit Longer” hit # 1, last August of 2008 by selling more than 525,000 copies in its first week.
The Black Eyed Peas “The E.N.D.” will slip to # 2 having sold 148,000 copies. The Dave Matthews Band’s “Big Whiskey & The GrooGrux King” comes in at # 3. Next to follow, is Eminem’s “Relapse”, coming in at # 4 with 72,000 copies sold.
The old school very popular late 80’s and early 90’s R&B star, Al B. Sure is making a return to the recording side of the music industry with his new album entitled “Honey I’m Home” with Hidden Beach Records. The album is set to be released in stores on June 23,2009. The first single off the album is, “I Love It (Papi Aye,Aye,Aye), and it sounds pretty damn good in my opinion.
Al B. Sure exploded onto the R&B scene back in 1988 with his first hit single entitled “Night And Day” followed by “Off on Your Own Girl” which I totally have on my mp3 player. They are great songs. He continued to pump out the hits in the early 90’s with “Misunderstanding”,”Right Now”,and “Rescue Me”.
As most of you probably know by now, Eminem is coming out with his new album on May 19,2009 entitled, “Relapse” in which he has already released his first single and video called, “We Made You” which is a spoof on celebrities,and quite entertaining in my personal opinion. What some people may not know, is that Em recently told MTV that he is currently working on a sequel LP to “Relapse” entitled, “Relapse 2″.
The ever so sexy lead singer of the popular girl group, Pussycat Dolls recently told Billboard that she is still working on her solo album that will be entitled, “Her Name is Nicole”. Apparently she’s been working on it for three straight years now,and has released a couple of singles entitled : “Whatever U Like,” “Baby Love,” “Puakenikeni” and “Supervillian” , but still has yet to release the full blown album. She says that the actual album is still in the works. She plans on getting back into the studio this summer after she gets finished with the whole Pussycat Dolls and Britney Spears Tour .
