‘American Idol’ 9 revealed seven of the top 24 contestants tonight. The show kicked off by showing footage from the final audition rounds in Hollywood to decide the final 46 contestants. Some did good,and some did not so good. After showing about an hour of final round footage,the judges did the traditional three-room walk where they had to tell one room full of hopefuls that they should hope no more,and didn’t make it to the final 46. Of course, the other two rooms were very happy when they found out they made it.

After that, The final judge’s decision for the top 24 took place, for the first time, in the world famous Kodak Theater. Read the rest of this entry »

Gay American Idol contestant flirts with Simon & disses Katy Perry in L.A. Last night, Fox’s hit show, “American Idol” aired its Los Angeles,California auditions,which featured celebrity judges Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne. Avril was on for the first 30 minutes and Katy followed suit for the last 30 minutes. In this particular performance, Katy Perry was the celebrity judge for a gay contestant named Jason Greene. He sang a very gay rendition of “I Touch Myself ” by “The Divinyls.”

He sang the song horribly and afterwards, he started flirting with Simon Cowell. Jason was down on the ground and said to Simon, “You wanna come down and join me?” Read the rest of this entry »

American Idol contestant sang the hell out of ‘Trouble’ in Orlando. Fox’s hit show, “American Idol” returned last night with the Orlando,Florida auditions,and contestant Matthew Lawrence came on and sang the hell out of the song, “Trouble.” It’s kind of ironic since he revealed that he had been in a lot of trouble in the past,and is now trying to make things right.

In the clip (below), Matthew said he was 25 years old from Stark, Florida and he currently manages his father’s trucking company. Then he said he got into some trouble at the age of 15 by robbing a bank with a bebe gun,and he had to spend 4 years in prison for it. Now, he wants to make his family proud. ‘American Idol’ contestant got arrested & hauled off in Orlando audition. Last night, “American Idol” return to TV with it’s Orlando,Florida auditions. One of them featured 28 year old Jarrod Norrell,and he made his segment very entertaining as it ended in him being cuffed,arrested,and hauled off the set. He really believed that he should stay there and fight for his “American Idol” spot even though his voice sounded like lawnmower.

In the clip (below), Jarrod went in front of the judges and told them that he was a great singer,but not with a whole lot of confidence,and later on we find out why. Read the rest of this entry »

‘American Idol’ contestant did weird Tiny Tim Tiptoe dance in Chicago. Fox’s “American Idol” hit the air again last night with Chicago auditions. A contestant by the name of Brian Krause showed up and performed a really weird “Tiny Tim’s Tiptoe Through the Tulips” dance,which had the judges and myself thinking it was fake. I still think it was fake even though Brian swore that he was for real. If it was real,that actually makes it even worse because that means he’s mentally ill.

In the clip below, Brian says that he was in the army over in Korea,and that he used to sing in the church. Then he ran into the audition room. He said he would be doing one of his favorite artists, Tiny Tim. He began performing, “I tip toe to the window,by the window.” Read the rest of this entry »

‘American Idol’ finds more very weird people in its 9th season premiere. Tonight, the 9th season of the very popular Fox reality show, “American Idol” made its debut,and it has once again proven to be able to find some of the weirdest people in America,along with the talent. It jumped out of the blocks with one of the weirdest contestant in history, Janet McNamara. She’s featured in the video clip (below).

They also had some very talented singers,but my problem with the “American Idol” contestants has always been with their awful song choices. You’d think since it’s younger people doing these auditions, that they could sing some songs most people would recognize. However, tonight, I maybe heard like one or two songs that I could recognize.
