Angelina Jolie has begun filming her new movie “Salt” which was a role originally given to Tom Cruise, but then given to Angelina when they changed the character to a female amongst various other reasons like Angelina might be more of a draw than Tom these days as far as action films go. But I won’t go to deep into that right now. Apparently in the “Salt” movie, she’s going to have many different looks . She’ll be blonde and brunette. She may carry a dagger, she may carry a gun, then again she may have neither which is is going to be kind of the preface of the film. They want to keep you guessing.

Loreno di Bonaventura, the producer of the film who also produced Transformers and the upcoming G.I. Joe states that, “People who think they know the real her may or may not. Those who think they can tell whether she’s in a disguise also may or may not. “You’re supposed to be kept guessing. She tells you her agenda, but are you supposed to believe it?”

Her character is named Evelyn A. Salt which was originally Edwin A. Salt when Tom Cruise had the role before bowing out. She’s a rogue CIA agent who is on a quest to prove her innocence, and clear her name after being accused of being a Russian sleeper agent. The question is was she falsely accused or was she not ? That apparently will be a predominant premise to this film which I think I really like and know it’ll be good with Angela Jolie as the star.

It has been confirmed that the Lara Croft “Tomb Raider” movie franchise will be revamped.”Tomb Raider” originated as a popular video game that was first introduced back in 1996, and is about a female, daredevil archaeologist named, Lara Croft. Paramount pictures made two movies about it back in 2001 and 2003 which starred Angelina Jolie as the starring role of Lara Croft. She decided after the second installment that she would not accept anymore Lara Croft roles.

Since then, the rights to the Lara Croft character have been reverted to Eidos,but Time Warner has now aquired the rights to it,and are planning to do a total remake of the film. Read the rest of this entry »

Not only has Angelina Jolie replaced Tom Cruise as the CIA officer in the film,”Edwin A. Salt”. She’s also inspired the name of the movie to be changed to “Erika Salt” to suit her role. In the film she will play a CIA officer who is accused of being a Russian sleeper spy. She avoids being captured by people who think that she is out to assassinate the president. As she tries to reunite with her family,she will fight to prove someone else is the traitor.

I’m really looking forward to another Angelina Jolie action flick, and I will provide more details on this movie as they come out.

It’s Official. There is going to be a sequel to the summer 2008 blockbuster “Wanted”. The awsome assasin movie that starred: Angelina Jolie,Morgan Freeman,and James McAvoy.Chris Morgan one of the screen writers for the film told Mtv that he is currently writing the screenplay for “Wanted 2″.
