‘Balloon Boy’ hoax parents get jail time for the incident. According to TMZ, the parents behind the crazy “Balloon Boy” hoax stunt are getting jail time for the event that had all of America glued to the TV screen because they thought a little boy was inside an experimental balloon that accidentally got away.

They report that the mother, Mayumi Heene has been sentenced to 20 days in jail for her role. She’ll serve it after her husband, Richard Heene complete his time. He is scheduled to serve 90 days in jail for his role in the incident. However, the judge has allowed him to serve 60 of the 90 days on a work release program, which allows him to seek work as a construction contractor while doing his time. Sheriff Jim Alderden now says that the balloon boy incident that occurred a few days ago,was a hoax,according to Access Hollywood. He had originally stated that they had no reason to believe it was a hoax, the other day,but apparently he’s changing his story,after further investigation. The Sheriff stated that Richard and Mayumi Heene “put on a very good show for us, and we bought it.”

He went on to state, “We believe that we have evidence at this point to indicate that it was a publicity stunt done with the hopes of marketing themselves or better marketing themselves for a reality television show at some point in the future.” Read the rest of this entry »

Larimer County Sheriff, Jim Alderden stated that he doesn’t think the Balloon Boy incident that happened yesterday was a hoax.He said that they believed a balloon of that size could have very well carried about 80 pounds.Since the little boy only weighs about 37 pounds,it was certainly conceivable at the time.

He said the parents expressed appropriate body language and emotions that were consistent with the events that were taking place. Also he didn’t think the parents reaction was fake, when they found out that the boy was not in the balloon.

He continued saying that it seems much more likely that the young boy hid out of fear, because he thought he was responsible for the balloon,becoming untied and taking off. Read the rest of this entry »

Falcon Heene,better known as the Balloon Boy threw up early this morning on his NBC “Today Show” appearance. He was reportedly feeling ill and shutting his eyes while his father answered questions for the interview. At one point, he asked his mom for a container before he threw up on camera.

Most people have apparently been searching for the “Balloon Boy throws up” story. So we decided to give them what they want.
