Producer Allison Grodner dished new CBS ‘Big Brother’ 12 details. TV grapevine recently talked with Allison Grodner who is one of the producers for CBS’ hit reality show “Big Brother,” and she dished few new details about the upcoming Big Brother 12 season (audio clip below). She talked about the number of houseguests they would be having this year. She revealed that this season will be more difficult than ever before,so they can keep the game interesting for both the fans and the contestants.

This makes a lot of sense because most contestants are fans before they get on the show,and kind of think they know what to expect. It’s good that they’ll be changing things up,making it less predictable. Read the rest of this entry »

CBS reveals Big Brother 12 will have 13 houseguests on official website. CBS recently launched the new website for their upcoming Big Brother 12 season. Although it doesn’t show who the houseguests are yet,it does reveal that there will be 13 houseguests this season. The new website also features full episodes of Big Brother 11 and other clips. It also has the new commercial for the Big Brother 12 season,which starts on July 8th.

The new season will also switch up airtimes from the usual Tuesday,Thursday,Sunday slots to the new Wednesday,Thursday,Sunday slots because CBS wants to keep their Tuesday high rating primetime shows intact. Read the rest of this entry »

Showtime renewed CBS ‘Big Brother’ 12 After Dark show for this summer. According to “Entertainment Weekly,” Showtime,which is CBS’ sister cable network recently confirmed that they will air the Big Brother: After Dark show again this summer for Big Brother 12.

They will start airing it on opening night this season,which is July 8th at 12am eastern time. This will be the 5th season that Showtime has aired it’s popular Big Brother: After Dark TV show. The show has apparently been very successful in the ratings. It has almost quadrupled the average numbers of viewers that it usually attracts in that time slot. CBS revealed new TV schedule for the new ‘Big Brother’ 12 season. CBS recently released a press released that revealed the new TV schedule for their upcoming “Big Brother” 12 season. It’s gonna have a few changes, but Thursday will still be the live eviction show day,and it will still air on Sundays,but the Tuesday time slot has moved over to Wednesdays. So, we’ll have back-to-back nights of Big Brother this season,which is fine with me.

CBS ‘Big Brother’ 12 picked their finalist & warned about a casting scam. According to Wiredupdate , CBS made the announcement that they have already picked their finalist for the upcoming “Big Brother” 12 season,and have also warned of a casting scam that’s been going around. Isn’t that always the case,though. Anytime something gets popular, there’s sure to be scam to follow.

CBS stated via their “Twitter” account, “All finalist calls have been made. Thanks to all who came out to our casting calls and submitted home tapes for ‘Big Brother’!” The Big Brother team did a lot of interviewing in a couple of cities throughout the United States,including: Greensboro, NC, Bee Cave, TX, and Los Angeles, CA. CBS reveals “Big Brother” 12 starts July 8 in new,1st promo clip. Hello, fellow Big Brother fans. It’s getting close to that time of the year again,and CBS has recently released the first promo for the upcoming Big Brother 12 season. In it, they reveal that the new season will start on July 8. The promo features hot and wet fun from past seasons of Big Brother. It states, “Coming this summer. Big Brother gets even bigger. The summer sensation,Big Brother returns July 8 only CBS.”

Last season in Big Brother 11, the seemingly underdog Jordan Lloyd ended up winning the $500,000 grand prize by ,all of a sudden, waking up at the end,and pulling out some major victories to take out Kevin,so she could take Natalie to the finals where she ended up pulling off an easy win over her because a lot of the house guests didn’t like Natalie’s big mouth or game play. CBS has announced, via a press released, that they are already making plans for Big Brother 12 with just less than a week away from the finale. The network announced the other day that they have already ordered another edition of Big Brother for the summer of 2010.

They say that Big Brother was a hit again this summer,growing its audience both on the air and online for the CBS Television Network and CBS Interactive platforms.

Compared to last year, Big Brother 11 is up +7% in viewers,and all three of the weekly broadcasts are posting summer-to-summer growth. Read the rest of this entry »
