Zap2it posted an interesting video (below) on their site by a guy named Jonathan McIntosh who goes by the name Rebellious Pixels on Myspace and his own site rebelliouspixels.com. The video is a remix which consists of clever outtakes from “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and “Twilight”. He remixed it in such a way to show “Buffy” kicking his butt.

It first shows scenes from when Edward first met Bella Swan, but instead,he replaces Bella with Buffy Summers “The Vampire Slayer”. He arranged it so that Buffy appears annoyed by Edward Cullen, and it eventually ends in a showdown where Buffy kicks his butt and kills him.

Joss Whedon Reportedly Turned Down New ‘Buffy’ Movie

According to my sources, Joss Whedon actually turned down producing the new “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” movie that was reported a while back, to be making a return to the big screen. We reported on it saying that the people who have the original rights to the “Buffy” script said they might get in touch with Joss to work on it.

According to Cinemablend ,it looks like they did indeed do that shortly after the news broke. He admitted to reporters that the producers of the new film did get in touch with his agent, and here’s what he had to say, “I believe the producers did ultimately reach out to my agent after the news broke. I think that’s something better left untouched by me. So, I wish them luck.”

‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ Movie Remake is on the Horizon

This just in. The original director of the “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” franchise is currently working with Roy Lee and Doug Davision of Vertigo Entertainment to create a remake movie of the popular tv show that graced the WB and UPN tv networks from 1997-2003. Right, now they have not included the popular creator,Joss Whedon in on it yet. They are not ruling out his involvement. They just haven’t included him in on it yet. I hope they do,though. I can’t imagine a “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” movie without Joss as the producer.

Apparently Fran Rubel Kuzui of Kuzui Enterprises held on to the “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” rights since the beginning when she discovered the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” script from the then unknown Joss Whedon in 1992.
