Carrie Underwood wins ‘Entertainer Of The Year’ at the 2010 Country Music Awards. Past “American Idol” winner and country music star Carrie Underwood took home the “Entertainer of the Year” award again at the 2010,45th Annual Academy of “Country Music Awards” tonight to take the crown for a 2nd time.

She also made history by winning it twice,becoming the only female in history to do so. She went head to head with the top country music entertainers in the business, including: Taylor Swift,Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Keith Urban, and the Zac Brown Band. According to celebrity-gossip.net, past “American Idol” winner and Country music star Carrie Underwood was spotted earlier today,doing her red carpet walk at the 2010,45th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada. They say Carrie is nominated to win some awards tonight,and is one of the top nominees with six nominations.

Usher,Carrie Underwood & more sang Michael Jackson tribute at the 2010 Grammy Awards. Famous musical artist, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood & Usher took to the 2010 Grammy Awards stage to pay tribute to Michael Jackson in a special 3-D performance of the “Earth Song” by Michael Jackson (clip below).

Country music star and past American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood took home a 2010 People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Country Artist” last night. Twilight’s Kellan Lutz and “Melrose Place” Katie Cassidy presented her the award. She faced tough competition that included: Keith Urban,Taylor Swift,Rascal Flatts, and Brad Paisley. They called her name,and she appeared to be really excited. She almost stumbled when she ran to the stage.

Carrie Underwood officially gets engaged to hockey star, Mike Fisher. The New York Daily News reports that country music star, Carrie Underwood has officially gotten engaged to Ottawa Senators hockey star, Mike Fisher.

They say a rep for people magazine confirmed it,stating, “I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier. No wedding date has been set at this time.”

Also Mike Fisher confirmed the news just before he started preparing for his game tonight,which is against the Boston Bruins. He stated, “It’s true. We’re both obviously excited and very happy.” Read the rest of this entry »

Carrie Underwood performed a great ‘Casanova’ at the 2009 American Music Awards. Carrie Underwood gave us a more revealing look with her 2009 American Music Awards performance (video below). She sported a short outfit,which showed off those gorgeous legs of hers.

Her performance started off with her surrounded by her dancers. Then she started singing her song, “Cowboy Casanova.” As she kept singing,she hit the notes with powerful authority. She even performed a couple of dance steps, here and there.
