Entertainment Weekly recently dropped a huge spoiler for the upcoming Desperate Housewives episode 16 that's due to air tomorrow night. Apparently, character Mike Delfino is about to get dropped by the mob,queuing up actor James Denton's exit from the show,two months before it ends for good. They confirmed that Mike will meet his demise,via an encounter with the mob, which echoes troubles his character dealt with earlier in the series. They chatted with James,and said he thought his death was good for the storyline because Mike was such a shady character in the beginning. "We weren’t sure what he was up to. In fact, in the very beginning, Marc had this idea that Delfino might have mob connections and that’s why his name was Delfino." They're also going to do some flashbacks in the episode that show his life flashing before his eyes. "It’s going to be slow motion with scenes from the pilot all the way." He also revealed that Mike's death will be very violent. Mike's death will also be very hard for character Susan Mayer,played by Teri Hatcher. So hard,in fact, that it will be "hard for her to play any comedy for the last six episodes."
