Yesterday July 29,2009 “New Moon” and “Twilight” star Rachelle Lefevre made a statement stating that she was shocked over being replaced as Victoria in the “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” movie by Bryce Dallas Howard. Now, Summit Entertainment,the studio for the film, has fired back stating that is was her fault that the scheduling conflict occurred,and that she didn’t even notify them in the proper time frame. Here’s what they had to say :

We at Summit Entertainment are disappointed by Rachelle Lefevre’s recent comments which attempt to make her career choices the fault of the Studio. We reported earlier that Rachelle Lefevre got replaced for her role as Victoria in the “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” movie by Bryce Dallas Howard do to a scheduling conflict. But now according to Zap2it, and a statement they released from Rachelle herself,she was shocked over what happened.

And from reading her statement,it looks like she got fired from the role do to a misunderstanding. Here is what Rachelle had to say to the recent decision to recast her :

“I was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for “Eclipse.” I was fully committed to the Twilight saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules. Read the rest of this entry »

According to EW, Rachelle Lefevre who played the evil vampire Victoria in “Twilight” and “New Moon”, has reportedly dropped out of the third installment “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” do to scheduling conflicts. They didn’t give any other information on the details of her scheduling conflicts.

However, they have found a replacement for her. Her replacement will be Bryce Dallas Howard (top right image). Bryce has been seen in big films like : “Terminator Salvation”,”Spider-Man 3″, and M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Village.” So Bryce will now be the new evil Victoria for “Eclipse”.

It is going to be directed by David Slade,and the screenplay will be written by Melissa Rosenberg.

According to reports “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” has found who they want to play Riley the newborn vampire. They’ve cast an up and coming Australian actor named Xavier Samuel.

The Riley character is described as a good looking college student who joins forces with the evil vampire Victoria,and helps her plot to kill Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart). Riley is corrupted by Victoria because he has an in explicable weakness for her.

Xavier Samuel has been in a couple of Australian movies so far, which include : “Newcastle”,and a new movie coming out called “Road Train” which is a drama. The “Eclipse” movie will be his first United States movie role. “Eclipse” is set to begin filming in August of 2009. Read the rest of this entry »

Christian Serratos who plays Angela Weber in “Twilight” and “New Moon” has been roped in by “Twitter”. She posted her first tweet today July 6,2009. She says, “This is not conforming…This is networking. HELLO TWITTER.”

Why she felt the need to say that, is beyond me. I don’t think anyone would be accusing her of conforming,but whatever. Her “Twitter” name is “cserratos”, and you can see her “Twitter” profile by Clicking Here. We really digg you Christian. You’re so darn cute.

Christian will start filming the third installment of the “Twilight Saga” flicks “Eclipse” with the rest of her famous cast members starting in August 17,2009,and they are supposed to wrap up filming by the end of October 2009. Read the rest of this entry »

Production Weekly reports that the third installment of the “Twilight Saga” series entitled, “Eclipse” will start filming on August 17,2009,and should conclude on October 31,2009 at the Vancouver Film Studios. David Slade who directed the “30 Days of Night” movie will be directing “Eclipse”.

The Eclipse Plot entails Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) finding herself surrounded by danger as mysterious killings start to occur and Victoria the vampire continues her quest for revenge.

In the midst of it all, she has to eventually choose between her love for Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) knowing that her decision could cause an old vampire and werewolf feud to reignite. Read the rest of this entry »

Summit Entertainment recently created a website called eclipseopencasting.com which is an online open casting call website for the latest “Twilight Saga” installment “Eclipse”. They are casting for the characters Seth Clearwater and Leah Clearwater.

Seth Clearwater’s character is a 15 year old male who is a Quileute Indian and the youngest member of the La Push Wolf Pack in the film. Read the rest of this entry »

According to my sources, the third installment of the Stephanie Meyer’s Book series,”Twilight Saga” franchise, “Eclipse” is now casting for three new characters which include : vampire Riley and the two siblings, Seth and Leah Clearwater. “Eclipse” is supposed to start filming in August of 2009.

The character, Riley is supposed to be a handsome blonde, clean-cut college boy who falls victim to the vampire named, Victoria.He is in his mid 20s and is supposed to be an integral part in Victoria’s attempt to murder Bella Swan. The producers are looking for Native American or First Nation actors to play the Clearwater siblings Seth and Leah .

The character of Seth is supposed to idolize Jacob Black played by Taylor Lautner. His physical characteristics are that he’s a tall,gangly limbed boy with a huge,happy grin. Read the rest of this entry »

My sources say that Melissa Rosenberg who is the writer for “Twilight”,and the future follow up movie to “New Moon” entitled, “Eclipse” that she would be interested in seeing Channing Tatum, the star of the recent “Fighting” film, play new born vampire named Riley in “Eclipse”. Riley’s character is supposed to be apart of an army that takes on Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart).

He is also a puppet for for Victoria who is a bad female vampire who doesn’t really want Riley,and just uses him. He eventually has to come to terms with the fact that Victoria doesn’t want him which is drama that writer, Melissa Rosenberg thinks Channing would be great at pulling off.
