The epic Paramount distributed “G.I. Joe : The Rise Of Cobra” movie finally released this weekend . I just got done watching it,and let me just say, right off the bat, that this is one film that was actually better than the movie trailers it put out.

This freakin flick rocked,and told a good story as well. Sure it had a lot of explosions,fights,and all that good stuff. But what made this movie so unique, is that it explained the reasoning behind it all, very,very well.

A brief synopsis of the film focuses around Duke (Channing Tatum), Ana aka Baroness (Sienna Miller), Ripcord (Marlon Wayans). Duke and Ripcord are assigned to deliver a very dangerous,new weapon that could eat through an entire city unless a “kill” switch is hit to stop them, once deployed.

This 3rd and latest “G.I.Joe : The Rise of Cobra” featurette goes back in time with the help of Larry Hama who wrote the first G.I. Joe comic book series. He explains how he ended up writing the comic book for Hasbro because no one else wanted to work on it.

In the first scene from the latest TV promo (below) for “G.I. Joe : The Rise of Cobra”, Tatum Channing head butts the hell of a guy. Along with that, it shows more recycled actions scenes from the epic Paramount funded film.

Paramount Pictures has released a new 2nd movie trailer for their “G.I. Joe : The Rise of Cobra” film. This 2nd trailer shows a couple of clips that were shown in the previous trailer like the destruction of the Eiffel Tower, the Baroness shooting missiles at two G.I. Joe members,etc. But they did throw in some unseen footage as well.

Another big movie trailer on tap that premiered at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards was the new “G.I. Joe : The Rise of Cobra” one minute and 45 second movie clip entitled, “Paris Attack”. This clip was awesome,and displayed more exciting footage from the movie. It starts off with the Baroness (Sienna Miller) walking into a building with Storm Shadow ( Byung-hun Lee). Paramount sure is busy these days. We just got done posting their latest “Transformers 2″ trailer. Now we’ve got their new full theatrical “G.I. Joe : Rise of Cobra” movie trailer they’ve just released, and let me tell you guys. It’s rockin the action thing to the max.We also see that Channing Tatum has been very busy this year with doing the “Fighting” movie, and now co-starring in “G.I. Joe” which is going to be one of the biggest films of this summer.

This trailer starts with an underwater scene. Then moves over into the desert. After that, the action starts to unfold with a big rocket missile knocking down a huge tower. The G.I. Joe team is assembled where we see Channing’s character, Duke. Read the rest of this entry »
