Michelle Morgan has been hired by Twentieth Century Fox and Lakeshore Entertainment to write a new version of the 1985 teen, comedy flick, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” which starred, Sarah Jessica Parker,Helen Hunt,and Shannen Doherty. They are currently looking to get teen superstar Miley Cyrus to star in the remake.The producers of the film will be Lakeshore’s Gary Lucchesi and Tom Rosenberg.

The Plot of the film centered around two girls who shared a passion for dancing and the hit show, “Dance TV”. It also featured the then hit song by Cindy Lauper, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”. Read the rest of this entry »
