They are currently looking to get teen superstar Miley Cyrus to star in the remake.The producers of the film will be Lakeshore's Gary Lucchesi and Tom Rosenberg. The Plot of the film centered around two girls who shared a passion for dancing and the hit show, "Dance TV". It also featured the then hit song by Cindy Lauper, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun".
