Green Day rocked ’21 Guns’ with help at the 2010 Grammy Awards. Popular rock band, Green Day showed up at the 2010 Grammy Awards,along with the cast from “American Idiot” to help perform their hit song, “21 Guns.” They performed a very passionate and moving version of the song tonight. It started off with castmembers from “American Idiot” singing the first verse of the song. Then “Green Day” joined in to start singing the song (clip below).

Green Day Rocked ’21 Guns’ At The 2009 American Music Awards

Green Day rocked ’21 Guns’ at the 2009 American Music Awards. Green Day lead singer, Billy Armstrong started off the performance,strumming the opening chords of the song, “21 Guns” on a black acoustic guitar (video below). During the chorus,they delivered a shower of pyrotechnic sparks.
The huge video screen showed glass shattering and bullets whizzing,and a big explosions during different parts of the song.
Towards the end of the song, Billy Armstrong raised his hands high,thrusted his guitar into the air,and shouted, “Los Angeles!”. Read the rest of this entry »
Green Day Rocked ‘East Jesus Nowhere’ At 2009 MTV VMA’s

Superstar rock band, “Green Day” won three 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night for “Best Rock Video,” “Best Direction,”,and “Best Cinematography” for their clip for “21 Guns.” They also performed their single, “East Jesus Nowhere” to a bunch of screaming fans.
They also welcomed a bunch of them onto the stage to rock out with them as they performed the tune.
The drummer, Tre Cool played an integral part in bringing the fans onto the stage,and it got full by the time the band finished the song.
