Emma Watson who plays Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” films is reported to be losing her passion for the industry. She is supposed to start college this fall, and is currently filming “Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows” which is going to be released as two separate films. She said she is struggling to balance her filming commitments with promotional work on the “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” film,and will probably stop acting if she doesn’t receive any tempting offers.

In an interview with US magazine Teen Vogue, she stated, “Until something comes along that I feel as strongly about as I did Hermione like, I felt that it was life or death. I don’t want to act again.I don’t think I’ve ever been this tired in my life. I literally wear my pajama bottoms to set. Today June 28,2009, filming has started in London for Harry Potter 7 “Deathly Hollows” Ministry of Magic scene,and a site named londontaxitour.com put photos of them filming, on their website. The photos show the three main stars of the film Daniel Radcliffe,Rupert Grint,and Emma Watson.

They are on location at the Whitehall area of London near Scotland Yard Scotland Place. It’s reported that they are supposed to be filming all day long today . The pictures also feature Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) body doubles. Read the rest of this entry »

“Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe recently gave an interview to Parade Magazine. He revealed that unlike his co-star Emma Watson that plays Hermione Granger who will be attending college. He says that he doesn’t like school very much in the following statement, “I wasn’t very good in school at all.” I was kind of useless.”

He also talked about playing the part of Harry Potter,and how he was similar to the character , saying, “When I started out at the age of 10 or 11, I was essentially saying the lines as I myself would say them,” Daniel said. “When I became aware that that’s what I was doing, at 13 or 14, it didn’t make sense to change, because it would suddenly be a dramatic shift in the character.” Read the rest of this entry »

The 11th tv promo for the new 6th installment of the Harry Potter franchise entitled, “Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince” has been released. In This 30 second clip we see more action and adventure from the Harry potter cast which include flashbacks, oceans,fire,floating objects, a touch of comedy,Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Albus Dumbledore, and that magical word “Poof”. Here’s another exclusive movie clip from Warner Bros. Pictures for their new, big “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” movie. In this clip we see Ron Weasley played by Rupert Grint who’s apparently gazing at the moon because he’s head over heels in love with a girl.

Warner Bros. Pictures has released yet another special featurette movie trailer for their upcoming “Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince” film do to hit the theaters July 15,2009. In This trailer we see more exclusive clips of Harry and Albus Dumbledore talking about the impending danger that is about to take hand, and a look back over the years they’ve spent together at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft. Now, they’re greatest journey begins.

The people over at the Harry Potter set for the “Deathly Hollows” installment have apparently started looking to the “New Moon ” cast for role filling. They have cast “New Moon’s” Jamie Campbell Bower who plays the leader of the Volturi vampire council in “New Moon”. He is reported to now be cast as the Dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald who is a magician and childhood friend of Dumbledore’s in the next installment of the Harry Potter franchise entitled, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows”.

In the story, Gellert and Dumbledore have a falling out after Dumbledore’s sister dies. Then Gellert turns to the darkside. However, in the end, Gellert is killed by Voldemort for lying to protect Dumbledore. Read the rest of this entry »

Yesterday, (4-24-09) MTV dished up another brand new “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” movie trailer / featurette (below). In this one we see more exclusive clips from the film along with interviews from the cast. Director, David Yates comments on the plot of the film. Daniel Radcliffe who plays “Harry Potter” also chimes in with some more plot info.The producer, David Barron talks about the key to Voldemort. David Heyman, another producer on the set goes into detail about the romances that will take place in the film,and how it will lead to inner turmoil amongst the characters.

Emma Watson who plays Hermione Granger comments on the fact that her character may have to come to terms with the fact that she may have feelings for Ronald Weasley (Rupert Grint). Read the rest of this entry »

The 3rd “Harry Potter and The Half-Blooded Prince” movie trailer was released a couple of days ago. It looks really impressive. I think I might know why they needed the extra 8 month delay for the release date of this film. It did no to waste. The final trailer gives more insight into the movie’s plot. It shows how Voldemort picks Draco Malfoy to work with on a mission.

It also shows a bunch of wizards,magic,flames,and all kinds of mystical powers being tossed about from here to there. It’s a total special effects extravaganza. Actor, Jamie Waylett who plays the Slytherin bully Vincent Crabbe in the Harry Potter films got busted “ridin dirty”(like the popular song suggest) in London for possession of marijuana in a report from some of my sources. Jamie Waylett and one of his friends were driving,and got pulled over . When the cops searched his car, they found like eight bags of marijuana inside. They, then raided his house later on, where he lives with his mom and three siblings. They found more there, in the form of 10 cannabis plants growing under hydroponic light next to a Sony Playstation. Go figure. There’s nothin like playing video games and getting high I guess.

Waylett, is set to go back to court in July. His character in the movie Vincent Crabbe is physically strong,but mentally inferior. Read the rest of this entry »
