Jay-Z comments back to Beanie Sigel dissing him in “Average Cat,” according to MTV News. They report that Jay-Z did a press conference in Toronto this past Friday,and journalist asked him for what his response was, to Beanie Sigel’s diss on him in his new song, “What You Talkin’ About (Average Cat).”

Beanie apparently made the diss because he feels his album wasn’t promoted good enough by Jay-Z. Jay-Z responded by saying, “He has a lot to complain about, not me. Well, Beanie Sigel, at the time, and you can look it up if you like, just to be honest , was driving two Bentleys. I don’t know how; it’s impossible to drive two cars at one time.

Jay-Z & Alicia Keys World Series performance clip released online earlier today. They performed his hit song “Empire State Of Mind,” which is now one of my favorite tracks.

They performed it in front of a packed crowd at Yankee Stadium for game 2 of the baseball World Series between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies last night. They performed the “clean” version of the song for the crowd.

Beanie Sigel disses Jay-Z in his new “Average Cat” song,the Wall Street Journal reports. They say he went on New York’s Hot 97 radio station this morning to debut the new track, “Average Cat,” and it apparently contained lyrics that dissed Jay-Z.

Some of the lyrics referenced an alleged incident that occurred back in September at a tribute concert for Jay-Z. The lyrics state, “The rapper Shawn called the police on me//cause I was front row at the Blue Print 3,”

Jay-Z To Perform ‘Empire State Of Mind’ At American Music Awards

Rapstar Jay-Z is set to perform “Empire State Of Mind” at the 2009 “American Music Awards.” He’ll be performing it live with Alicia Keys,again. So it’ll be an encore performance of the 2009 “MTV Video Music Awards” minus Lil Mama’s interruption. But who knows,she might show up to do it again.

Jay-Z is nominated for “Favorite Male Artist” and “Favorite Album.” Jay -Z is reportedly canceling his Austin,Texas appearance to do the performance at the 2009 “American Music Awards.”

T-Pain Apologizes, In Song To Jay-Z Over ‘Death Of Auto-Tune’

According to MTV, T-Pain had dealt some shots to rapstar Jay-Z earlier this month when he was DJ’ing in Las Vegas. He was apparently speaking out against Jay-Z’s hit song, “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune),” very explicitly .

However, the next day, he went back on the negative comments,claiming he that he was just trying to get clarification from Jay-Z about whether the song was about his use of the auto-tune technology or not.

Now, T-Pain has made a song that apologizes to Jay-Z publicly. It’s entitled, “More Careful,” which borrows from the beats used in Drake and Trey Songz’s “Successful” song.

Jay-Z Says He Didn’t Like Lil Mama, Interrupting His VMA Act

According to MTV news, rapstar, Jay-Z didn’t appreciate “America’s Best Dance Crew” judge, Lil Mama crashing him and Alicia Keys performance of “Empire State of Mind” at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, a couple of weeks ago.

They report that Jay-Z spoke to Angie Martinez on her radio show,and talked about Lil Mama’s VMA incident for the first time, a couple of days ago.

He stated, “To interrupt that moment for us, I don’t think that was the right thing to do.” He also said there was a lot of planning that went into the performance,and that her interruption was out of line. He stated, “It was a lot of planning that went into that performance. To disrupt that was outta line.”

Jay-Z & Alicia Keys Moved 2009 MTV VMA Crowd With Latest Single

Jay-Z arrived late to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. He pulled up in a limousine at Radio City Music Hall about 2 hours after the show started. He closed out the show performing an ode to New York with a song entitled, “Empire State of Mind” (video below) from his latest album entitled, “The Blueprint 3.” He performed it with R&B star, Alicia Keys. Images of the Bronx Bombers stadium flashed behind Jay-Z as he rapped.

Jay-Z rapped the lyrics, “Yeah, I’m up at Brooklyn, now I’m down in Tribeca.Right next to De Niro, but I’ll be ‘hood forever/ I’m the new Sinatra and since I made it here/ I can make it anywhere, yeah, they love me everywhere.”

Jay-Z Gets Down With ‘Run This Town’

He also brought a few friends along. You might know who they are. They go by the name Rihanna who’s a superstar R&B singer and mega rapstar,Kanye West.

They both collaborated with Jay-Z to create his second single, “Run This Town”, on his upcoming studio album, “The Blueprint 3.” “Run This Town” was released a few weeks ago on iTunes.

The music video (below) was directed by Anthony Mandler and was filmed on August 6 at Fort Totten Park in New York City.
