Beyonce,Jay Z chose Oprah Winfrey to be their Baby’s godmother. According to Hollywood Life and their sources,R&B songstress,star Beyonce and her rapstar husband Jay-Z have reportedly decided to make talk show queen Oprah Winfrey the godmother to their new baby Blue Ivy Carter. Apparently, Oprah is a close friend to them.

They also revealed that Jay-Z picked his best friend Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith to be the godfather. The superstar couple,reportedly,wanted the godparents to be people who weren’t already related to them. I would say, Oprah is a pretty huge deal as a godparent. Read the rest of this entry »

Singer Beyonce reportedly bought Jay-Z a mega expensive $500,000 ring. According to a new report out of Hollywood Life, popular R&B,singing star Beyonce recently went all out for her man Jay-Z by getting him a very,nice,ring that reportedly cost a whopping $500,000. Geez,these guys don’t mind letting the money fly. Damn, I got something I’d like to sell them.

Anyways, they say, Jay-Z was spotted out at the re-opening of his New York City club 40-40 the other night on January 18th,sporting a large,blue sapphire pinky ring,and an insider for MediaTakeout claims, they overheard him say,the ring was a gift from Beyonce for being a great baby daddy. Jay-Z,Kanye West performed ‘Otis’ at 2011 MTV Video Music Awards tonight in this video (below) Earlier tonight, mega rapstars Jay-Z and Kanye West teamed up on the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards stage in Los Angeles,California to deliver a performance of their recent hit song “Otis.”

A-List music couple Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z were recently spotted out at the “Experience the Turn” event in New York City,New York two days ago. The two appeared to be having a great time,dressed in matching color, black ensembles as the paparazzi snapped photos.

Superstar, R&B girl Beyonce Knowles was spotted looking pretty damn sexy with her rapstar husband Jay-Z last night in Miami,Florida. Appearing to be in good spirits, Beyonce sported a sexy tight red dress while walking with Jay-Z outside a hotel.

A crazy Jay-Z fan got violently thrown off the concert stage last night. According to TMZ and the clip (below), a crazy,dumb fan made his way onto the stage at a Jay-Z concert last night,and payed the price by getting violently thrown off the high stage. We don’t know if he got injured,but he’s gotta at least be sore from that fall. Geez !! They say Jay-Z’s security team made quick work of a stage crasher during Jay-Z’s concert in Washington D.C. last night.

The dumb fan bull-rushed the stage,while Jay-Z and Memphis Bleek were in the middle of a performance. They continued rapping,while their well-dressed bodyguard grabbed the stage crashing fan,and literally threw him flying off the stage. Read the rest of this entry »

Jay Z & Alicia Keys rocked ‘Empire State Of Mind’ at American Music Awards. New York Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez came on to introduce Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.
Alicia started it off by singing “New York,New York” by Frank Sinatra (video below), while Jay-Z stood by the piano.

Alicia’s voice is was so great in this song. After that, the beat came on for “Empire State of Mind.” Jay-Z bobbed around the stage,sporting a white Tuxedo top,while he spat those dope “Empire State of Mind” lyrics.

Jay-Z comments back to Beanie Sigel dissing him in “Average Cat,” according to MTV News. They report that Jay-Z did a press conference in Toronto this past Friday,and journalist asked him for what his response was, to Beanie Sigel’s diss on him in his new song, “What You Talkin’ About (Average Cat).”

Beanie apparently made the diss because he feels his album wasn’t promoted good enough by Jay-Z. Jay-Z responded by saying, “He has a lot to complain about, not me. Well, Beanie Sigel, at the time, and you can look it up if you like, just to be honest , was driving two Bentleys. I don’t know how; it’s impossible to drive two cars at one time.

Jay-Z & Alicia Keys World Series performance clip released online earlier today. They performed his hit song “Empire State Of Mind,” which is now one of my favorite tracks.

They performed it in front of a packed crowd at Yankee Stadium for game 2 of the baseball World Series between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies last night. They performed the “clean” version of the song for the crowd.

Jay-Z was awesome, as he spit out the great lyrics to the song. Then, Alicia chimed in for the chorus. I love her voice. I saw him perform this song with another girl one time, when Alicia wasn’t available,and I gotta say,it just doesn’t compare. Alicia Keys is just badass. Read the rest of this entry »

Beanie Sigel disses Jay-Z in his new “Average Cat” song,the Wall Street Journal reports. They say he went on New York’s Hot 97 radio station this morning to debut the new track, “Average Cat,” and it apparently contained lyrics that dissed Jay-Z.

Some of the lyrics referenced an alleged incident that occurred back in September at a tribute concert for Jay-Z. The lyrics state, “The rapper Shawn called the police on me//cause I was front row at the Blue Print 3,”

However, afterwards, Beanie said that this isn’t a green light for other rapers to make an album dissing Jay-Z. He stated, “This ain’t the green light for everybody to start making diss Jay-Z records. This is just me taking my brother out in the yard for 5 minutes.” Read the rest of this entry »
