Since the announcement yesterday, that the Lady Gaga and Kanye West “Fame Kills” tour would be canceled, Lady Gaga has made some comments that the decision to cancel the tour was a mutual decision between the two artists.

However, she also said that she’s going to be touring on her own,now,and that it should be pretty soon. She stated to Billboard.com, “It was a mutual decision and he’s gonna take some time off. But the good news is I’m gonna go out on a tour on my own, and it leaves just a week after we were prepared to leave together. It’s gonna be amazing.” Read the rest of this entry »

According to USA Today, Lady Gaga and Kanye West’s “Fame Kills” concert tour has been canceled. They had apparently just announced dates for it a few days ago,and then it abruptly got canceled today.

It was going to kick off on November 10 in Phoenix,and run through at least January of next year. They report that Live Nation announced the news in a brief statement earlier today,but they did not give any explanation as to why it happened. Lady Gaga didn’t disappoint last night,with her performance at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. She performed a few lines of “Poker Face” before she started with her new song, “Paparazzi.” She was wearing knee-high boots and a white bell-bearing unitard with a single feathered shoulder pad.

Her performance set looked like an ornate mansion. At one point she walked around the stage with a cane. She did a pirouette behind a dancer in a lily-white wheelchair and then went over to a white grand piano. She started banging the keyboard,and hoisted one of her feet up on the keyboard. According to MTV news,it looks like the recent new, music, sensation and Billboard Hot 100 chart topper,Lady Gaga has collaborated with the adult contemporary music star, Michael Bolton.

He has apparently been working with Lady Gaga on his upcoming album entitled, “One World One Love.” MTV reports that their collaboration actually took place shortly before she became the mega star she is today,and it was her idea.

Michael Bolton stated, “I was taking a break from production when my manager and the label tag-teamed me on the phone about writing with a young artist named Lady Gaga who I had never heard of,but they were raving about. Read the rest of this entry »

Music video for Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” song. “Poker Face”, is the second single released on Lady Gaga’s first studio album entitled, “The Fame”. It was released in September 2008 in some markets. Then it was released in early 2009, world wide. She performed this song on the 8th season of American Idol. It has been well received by topping the charts in over seventeen countries including the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the rest of the European countries.

The “Poker Face” music video was directed by Ray Kay and premiered on October 22,2008. It shows her playing strip poker, dancing around, and sharing kisses with other party guests as well as other scenarios. Read the rest of this entry »

Lady Gaga has now become the first artist in the past ten years to have two number 1 songs on the Billboard Charts with their first two singles. Her 2nd single , “Poker Face” just recently hit # 1,and her first single, “Just Dance” hit # 1 for a pretty good while. Christina Aguilera was the last artist two have her first two singles hit the top of the charts back in 1999 and 2000 with “Genie in a Bottle” and “What a Girl Wants”. Mariah Carey in 1990 and Tiffany in 1987 also are on that elite list. I actually remember that I couldn’t stand that “What a Girl Wants” song by Christina back in the day, but she can sing. I’ll admit that Lady Gaga has grown on me. Although, I’m not fond of “Poker Face” at all, I do like “Just Dance” and her other song “Eh,Eh (All That I can Say). They’re quite catchy. Music video for Lady Gaga’s “Eh,Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)” song. “Eh,Eh”, is the fourth single released on Lady Gaga’s first studio album entitled, “The Fame”. It has been receiving a lot of promotion in Australia and New Zealand do to much radio play over there. There’s also a human-beatbox version of the song which was performed live at Cherrytree Studios,and is on Lady Gaga’s first EP, The Cherrytree Sessions.

Eh,Eh video is a 1950s Futuristic Italian American-themed video, and was shot back to back with the video for her other song, “Love Game” on the weekend of January 9, 2009 in Los Angeles. It premiered on PerezHilton.com on February 3,2009. Read the rest of this entry »

Lady Gaga behind the scenes for the making of her music video for her next single,” Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)”. It’s the third single off her new album entitled, “The Fame”. She talks exclusively about what she wants to do with this video,and explains that she’s doing a futuristic 1950′s, Old Italian,Good Fellows, New York type of video.

She goes on to explain how she wanted the fashion and clothing to go in a different direction than what she’s previously shown. As for the song, it sounds pretty good to me. It has a nice sort of unique pop sound to it,and it was definitely easy on my ears. Of course this isn’t the full music video. It’s just outakes,and behind the scenes footage,but they do play a little bit of the song as well. Enjoy

New World Premiere music video for Lady Gaga’s “LoveGame” song. LoveGame, is the third single to be released off her first studio album, “Fame”. LoveGame is a self written song and produced by RedOne. The track was released in America and Europe on February the 13,2009.

“Just Dance” music video by pop singer, Lady Gaga.The song is the first single off her album, “The Fame”. Lady Gaga wrote the song herself,and it also features another artist on the same label as her by the name of Colby O’Donis who released his album entitled,”Colby O” last year as well. It also features another popular artist, “Akon” who does the additional vocals for the track. The track was produced by RedOne, and it was nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 51st Grammy Awards.
