It has been confirmed that the Lara Croft “Tomb Raider” movie franchise will be revamped.”Tomb Raider” originated as a popular video game that was first introduced back in 1996, and is about a female, daredevil archaeologist named, Lara Croft. Paramount pictures made two movies about it back in 2001 and 2003 which starred Angelina Jolie as the starring role of Lara Croft. She decided after the second installment that she would not accept anymore Lara Croft roles.

Since then, the rights to the Lara Croft character have been reverted to Eidos,but Time Warner has now aquired the right to it,and are planning to do a total remake of the film.
