Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester suing her mother for ripping her off.

According to TMZ, Gossip Girl,Blair Waldorf star Leighton Meester has filed a lawsuit against her mother for allegedly ripping her off. They say Leighton's claiming her mother diverted money she sent to her for her little brother,and used it for plastic surgery,Botox,and hair extensions. The lawsuit says Leighton's mom refused to work, but Leighton felt badly for her younger brother Lex, who has severe medical issues. So Leighton sent her mom $7,500 a month so she could provide for Lex. However, it goes on to claim the mother, Constance Meester, used the money for cosmetic procedures and other personal expenses.

CW, Gossip Girl, hottie Leighton Meester was spotted out earlier at the 2011,68th Annual Golden Globe Awards tonight in Los Angeles,California,looking all elegant in her beautiful ensemble. Leighton appeared to be having a great time as she smiled and posed for the paparazzi cameras before heading inside to enjoy the show. She also presented an award earlier tonight. The show is being held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Ricky Gervais is hosting.

Leighton Meester said she's leaving Gossip Girl in two years. According to E! Online, Leighton Meester who plays character Blair Waldorf on popular CW show "Gossip Girl," has revealed that she plans to exit the show in two short years from now. They say that she said she has two more years on the show,while interviewing for her upcoming movie entitled, "Country Song." She revealed that they're under contract as the reason why it'll be in two years. She also said that the producers have been more understanding than usual about the stars taking time off to pursue other opportunities. It means that it allows them to be prepared for when the show is over. Leighton revealed that she doesn't know if the entire show is ending,but quoted that old saying of going out on top.

"Gossip Girl" TV show star, Leighton Meester released her new song entitled "Somebody To Love," featuring the soulful Robin Thicke yesterday. It's the first single off her debut album,which has yet to receive a title. "Somebody To Love" was produced by Mike Caren. Also they've already filmed the music video for the song. They filmed it last month,and it's reportedly going to debut,later on this month. "Somebody To Love," was exclusively released to Ryan Seacrest's radio show on 102.7 KIIS FM in Los Angeles, California yesterday. Ryan Seacrest gave it a positive review. Also the listeners who called in reportedly gave it a good review, as well.

In the video (below) they were filming a scene for Gossip Girl on Prince St. in New York City which is one of the most trendy shopping streets in downtown. Their bodyguards and personal assistants kept trying to move people out of the way as they would try and get a closer look,or to get into the stores. There were hundreds of shoppers there,and paparazzi trying to get their money shots. Leighton and Blake looked good as they kept walking back and forth on the strip, shooting their scene for their upcoming third season of Gossip Girl.

Leighton Meester, the girl who plays Blaire Waldorf on the CW's hit show, "Gossip Girl" is apparently a professional singer, and has signed a record deal with Universal Republic through Time-Act Music for her first debut album set to release during the fall of 2009. My sources tell me that the music she's recording has an "electro pop edge sound to it. She began recording in March of 2009 with top producers and artists like : Polow Da Don (Usher, Fergie), Harvey Mason, Jr. (Justin Timberlake, Pink) and Spencer Nezey (Jupiter Rising).
