Madonna rocked Super Bowl 2012 halftime show last night,new clip. Last night,superstar icon Madonna hit the huge 2012 Super Bowl stage to give quite an epic performance with a couple of past hits,followed by some new songs,along with a few other superstar performers Nicki Minage,MIA,Cee-Lo Green,and more (video below).

In the clip,Madonna approached the stage,being carried like a mega queen, to her 1990 hit song “Vogue.” Then she eventually jumped on stage to start striking poses,and cranking out verses to her mega hit song. Unfortunately, Madonna did noticeably stumble around a few times. I think it could’ve been those awkward boots she was wearing. Madonna, who’s a veteran of the MTV Video Music Awards, showed up for the 2009 version to pay tribute to the late :King of Pop,” Michael Jackson. She certainly did not disappoint,as she gave a very heartfelt speech,wearing a dark black zippered jacket and skirt.

In her speech (full video below), she commented on her and Michael’s dinner date that they had years ago,and stated how he was looking for friend rather than a romance. She talked about how her her kids imitate him,now,and how she was sadden by the fact that she lost touch with him over the years.

She stated how Michael never really had a childhood. She said he was one of the greatest talents the world has ever known. She said he felt his pain when the negative stories came out about him. Read the rest of this entry »

Press Secretary Robert Gibbs spoke with Obama about Michael’s passing, MTV reports. The President said that obviously Michael Jackson was a spectacular performer and a music icon. “I think everybody remembers hearing his songs, watching him moonwalk on television during Motown’s 25th Anniversary.” Barack also stated that, “Jackson had aspects of his life that were sad and tragic. And his condolences went out to the Jackson family and to the fans that mourned his loss.”

Diana Ross,Smokey Robinson,and Madonna also payed tribute to Michael. Diana Ross said, “I can’t stop crying; this is too sudden and shocking.I am unable to imagine this. My heart is hurting. I am in prayer for his kids and the family.” Read the rest of this entry »

According to Cinemablend, and some of their various other sources, the super fit, 50 something yr old,pop icon, Madonna may be involved in the “New Moon” movie which is the sequel to the popular Summit Entertainment “Twilight” film recently released this past November based on the popular Stephanie Meyer’s novel series.Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary is the executive producer on the “New Moon” movie project so it is very possible that she could do a soundtrack for the film,act in the film, or do both.

At this time,though, none of the possibilities have been confirmed. One things for sure, is that she just may be involved in it. Also Ryan Seacrest spoke a little about it on his radio show. We’ll keep you posted on any further developments with this story. As of right now, it’s still in its infancy.
