Recently, Collider ran a new update on the rumored 4th installment of the very successful Transformers flick,and it looks like Michael Bay is going to return to direct,once again. They say that Paramount Studios is currently in final negotiations with Bay to come back and direct Transformers some more. What made Bay go for the deal,is that Paramount agreed to greenlight,or fund his new "Pain and Gain" flick he wants to do. Supposedly, if this deal goes through, Bay plans to shoot his Pain and Gain flick in the spring of 2012. Then head on over to do prep work for Transformers 4,simultaneously. After that,they'll move right on into production for the 4th installment in the winter. Currently,there's no info about the plot,yet. However,it's definitely not going to be a prequel,and they want to delve deeper and bring out new characters for the story. Shia Labeouf said, he's definitely not returning. I don't know if they can talk him out of that or not,but we'll see. Michael Bay also reported a response to their report on his site,claiming he doesn't really know what he's going to be doing,but did confirm,he's doing Pain and Gain in the early spring and has several studio meetings coming up,which means he's more than likely coming back for Transformers 4. No doubt.

The director, Michael Bay reported yesterday on his website that,yes, Transformers 3 will be made,but it's date has been confirmed for July 1,2011 instead of the "up in the air" 2012 date. He said he met with ILM for five hours in San Francisco,and also met with Ehren Kruger to talk to Hasbro about new characters.
