New ‘Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ movie delivered intense drama,action & more. Columbia Pictures released their new drama/thriller flick “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and I thought it was pretty good after it got off to a slow start. I must admit, I found myself dozing off at first,but man, did it really come alive after about the first 30-35 minutes into it.

That Lisbeth character really rocked. The movie stars: Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Christopher Plummer, Stellan Skarsgård, Steven Berkoff, Robin Wright, Yorick van Wageningen,and Joely Richardson.

In the flick, publisher Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) is hired by Henrik Vanger to wite the Vanger family history after being imprisoned for three months over a lost libel case,involving allegations about billionaire industrialist Hans-Erik Wennerström. Read the rest of this entry »

New ‘The Sitter’ Jonah Hill movie delivered outrageous comedy,drama & more. 20th Century Fox Recently released their new Jonah Hill,branded,comedy flick “The Sitter.” I just checked it out today,and thought it was funny as hell. Jonah Hill always cracks me up. The movie served up a lot of laughs. There was one scene,I’ll mention later, that was really very shocking. It stars: Jonah Hill, Sam Rockwell, Max Records, Kevin Hernandez, Landry Bender, J.B. Smoove,and Method Man.

In the flick, character Noah Griffith (Jonah Hill) hasn’t really done much with his life,and is currently trying to date a girl who really isn’t interested in him,but certainly doesn’t mind stringing him along. He finally ends up doing something for someone else other than himself when his mother asks him to babysit one of her friend’s kids so she can go out on a date,and jump start her love life. New ‘Mission Impossible 4′ movie delivered great action,suspense & more. Paramount Pictures released their new, Tom Cruise,4th installment action flick “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” into theaters this weekend. I just got done watching it,and I thought it was absolutely excellent.

Tom Cruise put on another stunt clinic,and the plotline was very suspenseful,once again. The movie stars: Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Josh Holloway, Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov, Lea Seydoux,and Anil Kapoor.

In the flick,American IMF agent Ethan Hunt (Tome Cruise) is broken out of a foreign prison by his new team, agents Benji and Jane. Ethan,eventually, leads them into a mission to infiltrate the secret Moscow Kremlin archives and locate files identifying Cobalt.

Unfortunately,during the mission, someone broadcasts across the IMF frequency, alerting the Russians to Ethan’s team. Although Ethan, Dunn, and Carter escape, a bomb blows up the Kremlin, and Russian agent Sidirov accuses Ethan of being responsible for the bomb. Read the rest of this entry »

New ‘Sherlock Holmes 2′ movie delivered lots of action,drama & extreme boredom. Warner Bros. Pictures released their new action/mystery flick “Sherlock Holmes 2: Game Of Shadows” into theaters this weekend. I just got done checking it out,and I gotta say, I’ve never seen a movie filled with so much action and drama,be so extremely boring at the same time.

I must have dozed off more than a dozen times,watching this thing. I also dozed off,during the first Sherlock film. These Sherlock Holmes movies just don’t do it for me. It stars: Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Noomi Rapace, Jared Harris, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Fry,and Rachel McAdams.

The new flick featured a new criminal mastermind at large,named Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris) ,and he was Holmes intellectual equal. However,his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, gave him a bit of an advantage over Holmes. Read the rest of this entry »

New Alvin Chipmunks 3 Chipwrecked movie delivered good comedy,adventure & more. 20th Century Fox released their new adventure/comedy flick “Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and I thought it was pretty good. It had a good plotline and some good comedy. The movie stars: Jason Lee, David Cross, Jenny Slate, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Amy Poehler, Anna Faris,and Christina Applegate.

In the flick, Alvin and the Chipmunks,along with the Chipettes went on a cruise with Dave to get to the international music awards. Unfortunately, Dave still couldn’t get Alvin to stay under control and behave. The chipmunks kept causing incidents onboard the chip that put them in a position to nearly get kicked off.

However,they wouldn’t have to get kicked off because Alvin’s latest stunt had them flying off the ship by hang gliders and kites. The chipmunks accidentally flew off the ship by kite,and Dave went after them in a hang glider,while fighting with good old Ian (David Cross),taking them both off the chip. New Year’s Eve movie delivered OK comedy,drama,celebrities & more. New Line Cinema dropped their new romantic,comedy flick “New Year’s Eve” in theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and I thought it was pretty good. It delivered some pretty good laughs and drama. Most important of all, I never got bored,watching,so it definitely offered something.

The movie stars: Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Robert De Niro, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Hector Elizondo, Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Seth Meyers, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Til Schweiger, Hilary Swank,and Sofia Vergara.

The flick offered an assortment of situations that went down with all the celebrity-packed stars of the movie. A bike messenger named Paul (Zac Efron) helped an older chick named Ingrid (Michelle Pfeiffer) fulfill her New Year’s resolution list that featured well over 8 things,including a New Year’s kiss. New ‘Hugo’ movie delivered interesting drama,storyline & more. Paramount Pictures released their new fantasy/drama flick “Hugo” into theaters a couple of days ago. I just watched it,and I thought it was a pretty interesting story,filled with lots of drama and emotion as young Hugo struggled to find answers from a mechanical robot man,and more.

The movie stars: Asa Butterfield, Chloe Grace Moretz, Sacha Baron Cohen, Ben Kingsley, Jude Law, Ray Winstone, Christopher Lee, Helen McCrory, Richard Griffiths, Frances de la Tour, Emily Mortimer,and Michael Stuhlbarg.

The flick is based on New York Times bestseller, “The Invention of Hugo Cabret” book from author Brian Selznick. In the movie, Young Hugo (Asa Butterfield) became captivated with fixing a strange,mechanical,writing man that his father had sitting around in his clock shop. They eventually decided to fix him up,together. New Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 movie delivered good drama,action & more. Summit Entertainment finally released their long awaited,4th installment flick “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and I thought it was pretty entertaining,overall.

I say that,because the beginning was a little cheesy for my taste with all that romance and lovey,dovey stuff. That part was definitely for the ladies. The action and drama parts that I liked,mostly picked up a little past the halfway point. New ‘Immortals’ movie delivered great action,special effects,drama & more. Relativity Media released their new action/adventure/fantasy flick “Immortals” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and I thought it was very entertaining to watch,delivering tons of action and cool special effects,especially towards the end. The movie stars: Henry Cavill, Stephen Dorff, Isabel Lucas, Freida Pinto, Luke Evans, Kellan Lutz, John Hurt,and Mickey Rourke.

In the flick, the evil,bloodthirsty,murdering King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) is after the mighty, long lost Bow of Epirus,and his destructive Heraklion army rampage across Greece in search for it. In the midst of their tirade, they end up killing a young stoneman’s mother.

Unfortunately, they didn’t know who they were messing with because the stoneman’s name was Theseus (Henry Cavill),who is a son of one of the gods named Poseidon (Kellan Lutz). I just checked it out,and I thought it was hysterical. It delivered lots of crazy scenes that kept me cracking up. The movie stars: John Cho, Kal Penn, Paula Garcés, Danneel Harris, Tom Lennon, Danny Trejo, Elias Koteas, Eddie Kaye Thomas, David Krumholtz, Patton Oswalt,and Neil Patrick Harris.

In the flick, Kumar has become an even bigger pothead than he’s ever been,while Harold has gotten his life together with hs wife Maria. Harold hasn’t seen or spoken to Kumar in two years.
