‘Alice In Wonderland’ movie gets pretty good reviews from top critics. Walt Disney Pictures has released their new,much anticipated Tim Burton’s “Alice In Wonderland” movie today,and the top movie critics in the biz gave it pretty good reviews. However, some didn’t like it as much,giving it a few Cs,but overall, it got pretty good reviews. It stars: Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover, Matt Lucas, Mia Wasikowska, Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen, Timothy Spall, Christopher Lee, Paul Whitehouse, and Barbara Windsor.

Ty Burr from the Boston Globe gave it a C. He stated, “entertaining but not nearly twisted enough.” Roger Ebert over at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a B rating. He said, “The film is enchanting in its mordant way until, unfortunately, it arrives at its third act.” Read more »

‘Cop Out’ movie delivered great action & good comedy with Tracy Morgan. Warner Bros. Pictures new action/comedy movie, “Cop Out” hit theaters this weekend. I just got done watching it,and despite what the critics said, It was entertaining. Tracy Morgan was funny in it,but I must agree with a little bit of what the critics said because some of Tracy’s punch lines didn’t punch all that great. Overall,it was good,though. The movie stars: Bruce Willis, Tracy Morgan, Adam Brody, Kevin Pollak, Guillermo Diaz, Seann William Scott, Jason Lee, and Ana de la Reguera.

“Cop Out” revolved around characters, Jimmy Monroe (Bruce Willis) and Paul Hodges (Tracy Morgan) who are long time police partners for the NYPD. Read more »

‘The Crazies’ movie delivered intense action,& crazy horror. Overture Films released their new crazy horror flick this weekend entitled, “The Crazies,” and it did not disappoint. It was really crazy,and delivered lots of terrifying horror and action fighting scenes. The movie stars: Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Danielle Panabaker, and Joe Anderson.

“The Crazies” film revolved around character, David Dutton (Timothy Olyphant) who’s the sheriff of a seemingly safe little town called Ogden Marsh. However, things start to go wrong with a few people in the town. They start giving weird stares, and talking funny. Then the next thing you know, they’re burning the house down with their relatives locked in the closet,stabbing people with pitch forks,and a couple of animal hunters started hunting humans instead and piled them into the back of their pick-up truck. Top Critics give ‘Cop Out’ movie less than great reviews. Warner Bros. Pictures has released it’s new comedy flick today entitled, “Cop Out,” with huge stars, Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan. Although Tracy is very funny, the top movie critics weren’t all that impressed,claiming that it was a hit-and-miss, standard buddy cop movie that really wasn’t that funny. It got mostly Cs and Ds,but two critics liked it,and gave it a B. The movie also stars: Adam Brody, Kevin Pollak, Guillermo Diaz, Seann William Scott, Jason Lee, and Ana de la Reguera.

‘The Crazies’ movie gets good reviews from top movie critics. Overture Films just released their new horror flick today called, “The Crazies,” and it got pretty damn good reviews from the top movie critics. They gave it mostly Bs across the board,and only a few Cs. The movie stars: Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Danielle Panabaker, and Joe Anderson.

Ty Burr from the Boston Globe gave it a B. He said, it was “extremely solid stuff.” Roger Ebert over at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a B-. He stated, that it was “a perfectly competent genre film in a genre that has exhausted its interest for me, the Zombie Film.”

Geoff Berkshire at the Chicago Tribune gave it a B. He said , it was a genre flick that knows what works–scary set pieces and likeable characters.” Read more »

‘Shutter Island’ movie delivered an interesting story with a great twist. Paramount Pictures released it’s brand, new, psychological thriller this weekend entitled, “Shutter Island.” I just saw it,and thought that it was a very interesting movie,and it also had a really good twist. It did not disappoint at all. The movie stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Patricia Clarkson, and Max von Sydow.

“Shutter Island” revolved around two U.S. appointed marshals, Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo). They go to “Shutter Island” to investigate,and try to find a missing mental patient who has escaped the facility. However, Teddy starts to progressively get more pissed off with Dr. Cawley and the staff who work there because he doesn’t think he’s getting a truthful answer from any of them. Read more »

Paramount Pictures released their new psychological thriller, Martin Scorsese film entitled, “Shutter Island.” Overall, the top movie critics seem to like it. It got mostly As and Bs. However, there were a few critics that didn’t find it quite as appealing,giving it a couple of Cs and Ds. ‘Valentine’s Day’ movie delivered huge stars & funny scenes. New Line Cinema’s new comedy flick, “Valentine’s Day” made its way into theaters this weekend just in time for well, Valentine’s Day. I do think the critics were right about the story line being a little all over the place,but it did deliver a lot of funny scenes,and it evidently had a lot of big name stars in it,which included: Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Hector Elizondo, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, Shirley MacLaine, Emma Roberts, Julia Roberts, and Taylor Swift.

“Valentine’s Day” revolved around multiple characters with romantic Valentine’s Day dilemmas. One couple, Reed (Ashton Kutcher) and Morely (Jessica Alba) were engaged to be married,but Morely ended up breaking it off because she was more into her career. Read more »

‘The Wolfman’ Movie showed plenty of drama & very graphic violence. Universal Pictures unleashed its new “Wolfman” movie on the public this weekend. I just saw it,and it contained a lot intense drama and very graphic violence as the “Wolfman” dug his claws into everyone he could. It stars: Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt, Hugo Weaving,and Art Malik.

“The Wolfman” movie revolved around character, Lawrence Talbot (Benicio Del Toro) who was an actor in the theater,but made his way back home when he got a letter from Gwen Conliffe stating that his brother, Ben had missing for a while. Lawrence eventually gets bitten by a werewolf when he tries to figure out how his brother got killed and goes after the werewolf. In 30 days, he becomes the very thing he hunted,and is now being hunted. Read more »

The ‘Lightning Thief’ movie delivered a ton of action & special effects. 20th Century Fox’s new action/supernatural movie, “Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief,” hit theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and I must say that it delivered more action than I thought it would. It also wasn’t to shabby on the special effects. The theater was really packed. It stars: Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Sean Bean, Pierce Brosnan, Steve Coogan, Rosario Dawson, Catherine Keener, Kevin McKidd, Joe Pantoliano, Uma Thurman,and Ray Winstone.

“Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief” movie revolved around Percy Jackson (Logan Hermen) who lives a pretty ordinary life,and thinks he’s a loser with dyslexia because of his unknown god-like abilities. Read more »
