Warner Bros. is releasing a brand new fun looking movie called “Shorts” this weekend (movie trailer below). It’s an action,adventure,comedy that grants a whole bunch of kids their wishes. Hmmm, sounds like trouble to me.

It stars : Jon Cryer, William H. Macy, Leslie Mann, James Spader, Jimmy Bennett, Kat Dennings, Trevor Gagnon, Leo Howard, Devon Gearhart, Rebel Rodriguez, Jake Short, Jolie Vanier .

Summit Entertainment released a press release today stating who landed the roles for their “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” movie. Filling in the slots for Seth and Leah Clearwater were 28 year old Julia Jones and 15 year old BooBoo Stewart.

Julia Jones hails from Boston ,MA according to her IMDB page. And BooBoo Stewart hails from Beverly Hills, CA. Julia’s resume includes appearances in four episodes of “ER” as Dr. Kaya Montoya,and some other TV /Film projects that aren’t really well known.

BooBoo Stewart has appeared in “The Last Sentinel”,”Everybody Hates Chris”, “Disney’s T-Squad”, and a ton of other small to moderate television,film,and music projects. Filming for “Eclipse” started yesterday. Read the rest of this entry »

According to Hollywood Reporter, those Wayans Brothers are bringing their surprise 2004 hit movie,”White Chicks” back for another round of comedy in “White Chicks” 2.

In the original “White Chicks” movie, Marlon and Shawn Wayans played sibling FBI agents posing as a pair of white ladies. The eldest brother, Keenen Ivory Wayans is on board to direct the sequel.

Keenen, Shawn,and Marlon are all writing and producing it. The storyline for the sequel is currently being kept a secret.

Rick Alvarez who is a long time producing partner for the Wayans Brothers, will be producing along with Joe Roth under his Roth Films label. Read the rest of this entry »

New Line Cinema has released the 4th TV spot (below) for their horror,thriller movie “The Final Destination” 4. It stars : Bobby Campo, Shantel VanSanten, Krista Allen, Mykelti Williamson, Haley Webb, Nick Zano, Andrew Fiscella, Richard T. Jones .

This clip shows that death will indeed find these group of kids as one girl gets trapped in her car at the carwash. Then it shows one girl who looks like she’s about to have a big piece of machinery plunged right into her face as it flies through the air. Read the rest of this entry »

James Cameron’s epic “Avatar” movie has released a teaser movie trailer (below). It will star : Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Stephen Lang, Matt Gerald.

The highly anticipated second “Twilight Saga: New Moon” movie trailer (below) has made it’s way online,and we have it right here for you, thanks to MTV.

Actually the trailer is more like a featurette. It starts off with that famous shoreline clip. Then we hear Taylor’s voice saying, “Have you ever had a secret you couldn’t tell anyone.” Then it shows Bella and Edward passionately kissing. Read the rest of this entry »

But, unfortunately, she couldn’t reveal much more than that,according to Access Hollywood. Apparently the producers are trying to keep the name of her character under wraps, as she stated, “I’m allowed to tell people I play a vampire who has just been turned.In other words, I’m a newborn vampire. I’m not allowed to say the name of the character.”

However, she did reveal how excited she is to be joining the “Twilight Saga” cast,and meeting one of the cast members in particular. She said, ”I’m really, really excited to meet Robert Pattinson.Every single person I’ve told has asked me if they could come to the set.”

Summit Entertainment’s new Bandslam flick finally hit the the theaters this weekend,and after watching it, I must say, I felt good. It was a feel good type of movie that brought a good mixture of comedy,drama, and inspiration.

Oh, and Summit also dropped their 2nd “Twilight Saga :New Moon” movie trailer just before the movie started. All you “Twilighters” out there are going to love the 2nd “New Moon” trailer. It was way more better than the first one. It’s really good.

Now, back to “Bandslam.” The plot pretty much revolved around a high school kid named Will Burton (Gaelan Connell). He moves from Connecticut to New Jersey with his mom who has found a new job.

He’s had sort of a rough time in his old school, but once he enrolls in his new school, he’s able to find a few friends which include Sa5m-the 5 is silent (Vanessa Hudgens) and Charlotte Banks (Alyson Michalka). Read the rest of this entry »

New Line Cinemas released their new romantic,drama,sort of sci-fi film, “The Time Traveler’s Wife” this weekend. It told a very interesting story that was filled with a lot of interesting twists that needed to be followed to the tee,to get it.

The synopsis revolved around characters Henry DeTamble (Eric Bana) and Clare Abshire (Rachel McAdams). Henry is a time traveler due to a rare genetic disorder.He travels through time,back and forth through his lifespan,reliving moments from his past and future.

Also when he travels,he never gets to take his clothes with him, so he’s always naked when he reaches his destination,and must always hide or find clothes very quickly. He apparently meets Clare when she was a child,and revealed to her that he was a time traveler,and she’s been in love with him ever since. Read the rest of this entry »

TriStar Picture’s sci-fi thriller, “District 9″ movie hit the theaters this weekend, and I must say that it was a pretty interesting film. It had a pretty good story,although the ending left a little bit to be desired for me.

The plot revolved around Multi-National United (MNU) field operative, Wikus van der Merwe (Sharlto Copley) and a whole bunch of aliens. They landed on Earth decades ago,and have since resided in District 9,located in South Africa for 28 years.

Eventually control over the aliens was handed over to MNU, who’s primary goal was to find out how to use the alien’s powerful weapons which can only be used by someone with alien DNA.

Wikus was sent over to District 9 to hand out notices of eviction to the aliens Unfortunately for Wikus he contracted a weird DNA altering virus while searching one of the alien’s homes. Read the rest of this entry »
